I m currently at b180 how to update to b521? I tried to dl it via firimware finder and send it to ota. But after that it stop at failed verification and reboot. Do I need to updates to b211 first? If yes which 1 should I choose? There are 4 diff type there. Thanks

My phone now stuck in emui after updating to b211 I cant reboot wipe data or cache. What can I do to factory reset it?
i tried putting b211 into dload folder and volume up down power but it is not detecting any update. my bootloader is locked.. any other way for me to recovery my phone?

I m not sure whether it finished 100% anot tat time I m slping... ya I tried that but ths factory reset failed at 8% everytime even if I clear the cache. I tried the erecovery function to recover using wifi but it also failed to detect any firmware to download.when I boot into fastmode the screen show it is locked so I cant issue any command. Can I get the unlock code if I cant boot up my phone? I cant get all the numbers they need.

Ermmm I never unlock my boot loader before. I don have the unlock code..

I cant.. I m currently in new zealand until next year. The only 2 service center in new zealand is 20hrs plus drive from my place. Will huawei give out unlock code if I only have receipt and imei? I am waiting for them to reply me

I have just unlocked my bootloader. I have tried to flash it using b211 and 193 but it both failed. Do you still have b180 with you? Or any 1 with b180 can share the file with me? Appreciation it very much.

the link is not working anymore... it was directed to huawei website which no longer work. Have you downloaded b180 before?

or can i flash it to b193 if my phone has never update it before? if yes can guide me please??? thank you

with b193 and b211 and when rebooted, both also stay the same. cant factory reset and dload.

Phew finally I unbrick my mate8. Need to flash twrp then factory reset from there and install b180. First dload b180 failed then my phone restart again and dload180. This time it success I can use my phone normally now only 1 problem.... cant change theme anymore...

Even if I update to another firmware like nougat? I don feel like rooting my phone at the moment.

Mine also like this but I cant send it to the sc as I m not in malaysia. I did the restore myself u can also try to diy if they really insist that you need to pay for the repair. In order to do that u need your bootloader unlocked and I read it somewhere that u also need to enable your developer mode before you brick ur mate 8. If not you can also pay for dc unlocker - pheonix something. I can guide you if u need.

Plug in malaysia simcard and instantly get update to android 7... no wonder I m stuck at b180 for so long.

It is still the same for my phone. 0% drained overnight

I go to ss2. Screen is like rm300 not sure what is the retail price coz after I change battery screen smart cover not working then he suggest change lcd and share half half cost.
