Hi guys! Lately my Asus K451LN got stolen 😔. Bought in 2014, very good laptop with reasonable price (RM1699). Specs: i5-4200u, gtx 840m, 4gb ram, 500gb hdd.

Sadly, laptop has ballooning in price now. So, I need recommendation on which laptop to buy now with the best price around this segments. GTX or Radeon is a must! I do some FPS gaming from time to time, can bear with medium settings 🙆. Hope you guys can help me out!

I can tolerate more even of its more than RM2000 (with this kind of spec nowadays for sure). But really need the best price I can get now before I make a purchase and regret later on hahaha

Do recommend me Ryzen laptops if it suits my need. I can do research later on 😁.

I dont need gaming laptop but if the price is good i'll take it 😁. But googling this came out desktop??? Whats the model actually?

Right now I'm leaning towards Lenovo IdeaPad 320 (14-inch, i5-7200u, gtx 940mx, 4gb ram and 1tb hdd). Priced at RM2399 in Wangsa Walk. But who knows if there is cheaper price somewhere else or maybe a bit lower spec with much lower price??? Hehehe

For hd display is it 1366x768? How much it will cost? I do not need fhd display.

Out of topic a bit, did anyone try gaming on a 14' FHD screen and use 1366x768 res? How's the scaling? Perfect scaling or a bit blurry??

My stolen laptop is Vivobook K451LN (2014 model). My friend mistaken it as Macbook hahaha. With aluminium design, the palm is cool to rest for a long time but somehow with weird air vent facing down (solved it with cheap external fan). I reckon this vivobook should have the same functional design, more or less.

So you think I should wait for a month too for the price to come down?? I'm planning to buy in middle of September, hows the price going, in usual scenario?
