1. Preferred brand : Any brands
2. Budget : < 4k
3. Usage : Office, movies, gaming (FPS, the sims etc)
4. Screen Size : no preference
5. Others : Light weight, sleek

0 knowledge when it comes to digital stuff. My current laptop is Sony, regret of getting it.

Parents recommended to buy Apple laptop but i heard the reviews is bad? Anyway I'm using it for the purpose above, so I think normal laptop will be sufficient instead of going Apple.

Thanks if I can get some advice here!

You can't get apple with less than 4k anyway don't worry

That said. The NEW xiaomi book air is also worthy of consideration,if you are used to buying online. You are most likely to get the ap version though. So no warranty.

Nope no notebook is not cheap to begin with . Then they had not been update their spec since launch time while retaiNing the same price . It is a bad choice right now .

Furthermore you want to be lab rat to test a company that don't have any experience in making notebook ? No warranty some more . Bad suggestions .

i see.. so as long as the new laptop has no issue then no need to worry about their after sales service lo.. haha
*
Yes . It is new and can claim official warranty .
Note that there are some Dell seller here which is their direct competitors . There is more than 1 seller also selling below 3500 . So if you made you mind just buy it . You ask from their competitor they sure tell quality this that bla bla .

1050 is 2 tier above 960m btw .

You did indicate maxq lower clock speed lower heat lower consumption and you clearly asking it as advantage and worth 1300 or not .
Nope . Any gpu will do the same . No point buying maxq . It is just a rebrand of old m gpu .
