1. Preferred brand : Dell, others also can..
2. Budget : Below 2.5k
3. Usage : HDMI to TV for movie/ drama, basic Word/ Excel + Printing and web surfing.
4. Screen Size : 15"

Lets say if future I want to upgrade to a 4k TV, does it means that the GPU has to squeeze enough juice to support?

*Plus if it's light and has a good cooling/ ventilation system.

Thanks in advance!!

u prefer buy from local dealer or shop online?

I'm fine with both as long as I can get a good deal and is warranty covered  thumbup.gif

then you better check on your local dealers, buying from online got to deal with horrible warranty support

go to your local dealers, check the spec list, make sure got hdmi port, ssd, if can squeeze a IPS panel inside, though for 15' that may be out of your budget laugh.gif

I see. As long as the HDMI port can support 4k display then no worries already? As in don't need to really study the GPU/ CPU?

no need, since you are using it for light workloads and not games and stuff, just make sure got hdmi 2.0/ displayport 1.2 or any port that can support 4k
