Hi I'm looking for VR capable gaming laptop that will not break a bank.

1. Preferred brand: Any brand will do.

2. Budget : RM6000 - 7000

3. Usage: Gaming, heavy gaming with intense/extreme graphic that suit with the budget. Highest possible Nvidia GPU in that price range.

4. Screen Size: 17.3" inch

5. RAM: Minimum of 8GB

6. Storage: SSD + HDD

7. Others: Preferably Nvidia GPU with G-Sync monitor (optional). Weight and battery are not a consent.

or any recommendation?

Get illegear Q5 Evo with 1050ti better. I5 7300hq good enough if just for gaming unless you doing cpu intensive stuff. If light gaming only then lenovo y520 at rm3399 with gtx1050 also a good choice. Just add an ssd + some ram then you're good to go. That Asus model seems pretty overpriced for the specs imo.

1. Any brand, preferably not Asus
2. Budget : rm1.5k+-
3. Usage : typically student usage, no gaming. Just typing and surfing
4. Screen Size : 14 inches and below, prefer to have antiglare or something like that.
5. Weight : must be 1.5kg and below, the lighter the better. As slim as possible.

Ipad? But I'll have to use program such as SPSS, PowerPoint, M. Office. However I do have another high performance desktop, so I'll only bring the notebook to college to do some typical college student stuff such as typing assignment/reading etc...

P.point and m.office can be used on iPad biggrin.gif. Only spss can't. At 1.5k I don't think you'd be able to get a decent laptop that fits your needs of thin, light etc. You would probably run into problems trying to run spss on a 1.5k laptop too sweat.gif
