guys, i'm going to buy a new laptop soon, and i've got 3 choices based on the bits of info that i got just a while ago:

1)Dell Inspiron 14
-CPU: intel core i3-5005U 2.0GHz
-500GB sata HDD
-2GB nvidia graphic card 920M
-1 year warranty

2)Dell Inspiron 3421
-intel celeron ®1017U 1.60GHz
-1TB sata HDD

3)NB ACER AS ES-473
-intel celeron 3215U 1.70GHz
-4GB DDR 3 RAM
-500GB sata HDD

P/S: i'm going 2 study computer science in uni, so, i need a laptop that able to ensure that my software is smooth when i run them because sometimes i will run 2 IDE's at the same time. as for the weight/portability, i don't really mind that much, and oh, i don't really play games that have very high requirements

and also, i'd like to know which one of these laptop is flexible and can be replaceable... because i intent to replace my hard disk to SSD in near future, so yeah, if i could, i wanna avoid any laptop that has most of it's hardware soldered/fixed in it..

all was outdated / low spec, your budget very tight ? ohmy.gif

my Asus X451CA failed me, and yeah these 3 are my only choices after lots of narrowing down..

Hi,

was wondering if you guys can help me with it.

1. Preferred brand : Any
2. Budget : <RM1500
3. Usage : Typical Office work, Online, Document, etc. Not for gaming
4. Screen Size : Prefer <15inch since will be carrying around
5. Extra: Prefer something thin too

Just need an extra laptop for office use since new company doesn't provide working laptop =/

Guys what do you think about Lenovo Y510p vs Y700?

I know one is new the other older. wink.gif

Y510p = RM1500
Y700 = RM3000

which would be a better buy

Hi. I'm looking for few recommendations for good laptop that fit these bills.

Max budget: RM2.5k
Preferred brand : Any brand with good after-sale service in Klang Valley
Proc: Core i3 or i5
RAM: 8GB DDR3
Hard Disk: Preferably SSD (not too high end) or just normal spinning hard disk if you can't work within the budget
Screen size: 14" or 15" is sweet
Usage : Mainly Windows programming, office work, surfing internet, no gaming (so Intel gfx is perfectly fine)
Other: Dvd reader/writer is not needed
