Hi guys,

1. Preferred brand : Any (Maybe MSI?)
2. Budget : RM3k - RM4k+
3. Usage :
- MS Word/powerpoint, PDF docs
- Chrome, Videos, YouTube
- Gaming

4. RAM : At least 8GB
5. Screen : Prefer bigger
6. Hardisk : M.2

I have very little exposure to laptop brand and know very little about it so any brand is ok as long as it's durable. My colleague is using MSI PE60 or PE70 and it's true color screen is very nice. I have only seen MSI which my colleague is using that's why any brand is fine as long as it's good. Hope you guys can give me some recommendations!

Dear Sifus, looking for a laptop to replace my old y410p. It has served me well.

1. Preferred brand : any (with good international warranty)
2. Budget : Around 3.5k (4K max with GST)
3. Usage : Ansys, Matlab, Gaming (dota 2, CS), University Engineering Coursework
4. Screen Size : 15.6" or 13”
5. dvd\cd tray: none
6. Hard Disk: Dual or SSD only

I am thinking of 2 options.
1st option: a traditional heavy laptop with good gaming spec. Heavy as in around my old laptop weight
2nd option: an ultra book or 2 in 1 with great portability. Don’t mind sacrificing some spec or ability to play games

Possible to get latest i7 processor for this price range? And gtx1050 too. Backlit keyboard cool if have it. Touchscreen no.

Thank you!!
