This is a nice game. Very grindy but most gacha game is such. I moved from Mobius FF to this game, enjoying it so far and ended up spending money in the game. Turn based gameplay is fun, with summons too, feels a little like old Final Fantasy games. And character designs are really very nice.

Story and character backgrounds are mostly leaning heavily to Manga/Anime kind of characters IMO, so some will find it a bit cringeworthy. I am used to reading Mangas so I am cool with it.

Hope to see more Malaysian players.

I am still very new, only rank 20 like that. I previously had an account around Rank 40, which I suptix Yoda. Then I gave in to my male instincts and bought a starter account with Narmaya and Christmas Rosetta. So still very early game. Long term goal is dark element, though I heard going straight to light/dark is very difficult. But my main account now has two dark, two light, one fire and one earth SSR. So even my second element point towards Light which is equally as hard as dark.

I presume you guys are high level already? You guys doing Magna/HL stuff already?

Game has English patch, so there is English text. Menu and subtitles all in English, but all voice will be in Japanese haha... I also can't read Japanese.

Only thing is account registration, to ensure your progress is saved, need to create an account with the game creators, Mobage. That one is all in Japanese. With Android translate I can make it through that though lol. Pretty standard account creation, need email and password, and email verification. But don't use your primary email account cause they send tonnes of spam advertisement email in Japanese.

Yes sadly this game seems to be made with mobile phone size and resolution I think. On PC, if use the Chrome app, also appears as a mini window.

maybe you can printscreen/snap picture of your interface? we dont have much experience on IPAD but my samsung tab allow me to adjust oh...

For weapon equip - click Party -> click weapon -> click one of the grid/box -> select weapon

Dragon - pass us your ID, if you interest to join guild, we all very casual=)

Only available in Japan playstore AFAIK. For us in Malaysia, have to install via QooApp:

After installing Qooapp, can search for Granblue in Qooapp to install the game. All this are considered "unknown sources" in Android, so have to allow unknown sources installation in phone settings.

Lol, and i thought the last time there was an introduction thread in lowyat long time ago it was feared as a gacha cash heavy game but ever since i started playing since 2 months ago it wasn't bad at all. I'm currently Rank 79 towards 80 with story progression at chapter 77 & was able to solo yggdrasil & mvp some other omegas. All my free draws wasn't that good to be honest, I started rerolling with Lecia & the only decent SSR draw was Gawain, then I suptix Korwa completing the windmeme team

How do you guys reach your renown pendants cap? I am getting very little pendants per battle only. The R and SR bonus one at least can get some when I host and solo lower difficulty raids, but the normal pendant cap, I really have no idea how to get so much pendants.

That one you must do enough Damage punya - BTW, we might be doing bahamut between 9pm-11pm (Strike Time)

Guild war in a few days time also, which GW chac you farming?

I heard the wind one is good, but unfortunately I don't have even a single wind SSR character. I have two dark, three light, one earth, one fire and two water SSR. No wind at all lol. That's why in the end I try farm for the light katana but then I don't think I'll be able to get multiple copies to uncap. So far only trade one.

Guild war is it the one where have to draw from the loot box one? That one seem really hard to get unless can clear the whole box. I am torn between the dagger or fist. I heard the dagger is good as mainhand weapon for dark fencer, so kinda want to get that. But the character that I want unlock in the long run is Seox/Six for my long term dark team.

event SSR weapons usually drop in extreme or above difficulty, so you can clear extreme then go for it. I have max uncap unk wind weapon with a few spares, only 1 unit was from the shop

for guild war weapon they recommend beginners between dagger & a harp, usually they choose either these 2 weapons first then unlock gw char of their choice on the next guild war event. That way you have a much smoother progression curve. After all the gw char materials are just so hard to collect even for seasonal players

You will need GW dagger for mainhand mostly, and it's not just Dark Fencer, any class with uses dagger, and even in late game GW dagger is really good for main hand because of that ougi boost triple attack.

Depends on ur weapon grid, it might not be so difficult to clear or boxes, but it's just a matter of grinding.

Also another suggestion is to upgrade your dagger till the point where you unleash its ability[DA/TA]/element desired - then stop and dont continue further.

Subsequently, proceed farming the entire chain for your desired GW chac

I see. I struggle with extreme, basically relying on Yoda to clear battles. If he's dead, I'm dead.

The casino is damn depressing, spend 30 minutes playing poker and lost 50k instead of increasing my chips. If there's one part of this game I really hate, it is the casino. I'd honestly prefer to spend real money and buy the chips to get casino items rather than playing poker or bingo. Damn depressing.

You need at least around 100k for it to be alright to play casino.. Just use the probability method and you'll most likely profit from it.
Problem is there will also be failures but mostly it's profitable.. Unless ur damn lucky. Cleared everything on casino.. Anat, Christina and even the guns.

Casino is being buffed recently from the "feel" of it... getting more depressing than 3-4 months ago...

I personally give up on Anat and Christina etc, I don't have the patience to play.... especially the bad/dry spells where I can lose almost hundred tries in a row (including failed doubled up). I don't mind not getting the Anat and the upper limit stuff, which are all mainly for wind anyway.... but I do need to build up enough to get the bricks if I need them in the future.

x < 7, hit high
x > 9, hit low
if x=7-9, guessing game but u get cues from winning hand. lets say u won triple cards with 3 Aces, an 8 & a 4, probability speaking there is a higher than chance it shows a low. dont forget you also need to deduct previous high low bid into account

Rerolling for a SSR is good if you can wait until the next legfest at the end of February. I'd say having a good SSR helps a little and also keeps you motivated as this game is really grind heavy, like really really grind heavy. Me, I am a fat lazy arse though so I bought this account for like 13USD/RM 60 like that from Reddit, since I am too lazy to reroll. It has 4 SSRs, I think original owner used up Christmas free in game gifts to get them.

I believe these days you are guaranteed a lowly rated SSR when creating a new account, so I suppose it is rerolling to see what other SSR you can get apart from the free one.

Actually want to reroll now also can but it'll take a longer time since the SSR rate is lower. If you have the time then why not.

I do once in a while. In this game there is the beginner's ticket (one time only) and surprise tickets, those are the most worth it to spend money on. You get one special ticket to choose any non-limited SSR character you like and also a 10 part draw ticket. Normally people use this to complete the team, if you are missing a core character for your element or just get a character that you like. It cost 3090 yen, which in my experience is about RM 130 like that over Google Play store. Surprise tickets are available once every 30-40 days I read, so you don't have to worry of overspending/getting addicted to it haha.... In fact, I am saving up money for the next surprise ticket to get Vira.

So I am still dealing pitiful damage if I'm not using Yoda. Feel sad seeing other people at close to Rank 80 can deal much more damage. But I guess that's the challenge of starting dark element as main element straightaway.
