Magnafest is half EP right, so 3/2=1.5. Wonder whether it'll be 2 EP or 1EP. Hopefully it'll be 1 EP.

Yep really a lot of farming. Currently on have two copies still need another two more, one from gold medal, the other one honor.

Sadly no time to take advantage of magnafest yet. Want to farm Celeste, my grid still 0 star magna weapons.

Wow so nice. I haven't have any weapon drop so no choice but to keep farming. But I kinda want to max uncap Levin sisters too so I'll need token too, so still need to farm.

I got Cagliostro. Don't use earth and doubt I want to use earth as secondary in the future either so not much use for her.

Rerolling for a SSR is good if you can wait until the next legfest at the end of February. I'd say having a good SSR helps a little and also keeps you motivated as this game is really grind heavy, like really really grind heavy. Me, I am a fat lazy arse though so I bought this account for like 13USD/RM 60 like that from Reddit, since I am too lazy to reroll. It has 4 SSRs, I think original owner used up Christmas free in game gifts to get them.

I believe these days you are guaranteed a lowly rated SSR when creating a new account, so I suppose it is rerolling to see what other SSR you can get apart from the free one.

Actually want to reroll now also can but it'll take a longer time since the SSR rate is lower. If you have the time then why not.

I do once in a while. In this game there is the beginner's ticket (one time only) and surprise tickets, those are the most worth it to spend money on. You get one special ticket to choose any non-limited SSR character you like and also a 10 part draw ticket. Normally people use this to complete the team, if you are missing a core character for your element or just get a character that you like. It cost 3090 yen, which in my experience is about RM 130 like that over Google Play store. Surprise tickets are available once every 30-40 days I read, so you don't have to worry of overspending/getting addicted to it haha.... In fact, I am saving up money for the next surprise ticket to get Vira.

Yes bro haha... Slowly getting dark team characters. Too bad my magna weapon grid still very weak, all 0 star except for two weapons at 2 star. So I am still dealing pitiful damage if I'm not using Yoda. Feel sad seeing other people at close to Rank 80 can deal much more damage. But I guess that's the challenge of starting dark element as main element straightaway.

Yep haha... light is as bad as dark I suppose.

Btw you guys can get 150 badges in the event? I want the crystals but don't think I can get. So much thing to farm during half AP/EP duration.

Wow, not impressed at all with the new event. Basically you can't do anything unless you got a water grid. I needed two full elixirs just to clear extreme Xeno Ifrit for the crystals.

I don't quite like this new direction. If they are encouraging everyone to build multi colour grids, then they should increase SSR drop rates to compensate. Who has the time to grind 6 element grids.

AFAIK, now you are guaranteed to get a SSR from the tutorial draw but that draw is rigged to only give a character from a small pool of characters. That's why you guys keep getting the same characters.

The goal of rerolling will be to get good characters from the other draws, the free tickets and JDA tickets. And as strace mentioned, now you get free 10 draws for a week. That free 10 daws is probably your best bet. So the best day to reroll is actually today. If you are hardworking, can get a few accounts you like today, then get the 60 draws over the next 6 days for each of those accounts, then finally you can see which one has the most SSR you like.

I'm grinding for class weapon to unlock Tier 4 jobs too. The grind is real man... But no better time to do it than now with magnafest on.

I used Qooapp to install the app, but some just play from mobile browser.



I think you've missed the best time to start by a week or so. Normally at the end of the month/beginning of new month, they have legfest where rates of drawing SSR characters are doubled. That's the best time to reroll, less painful that way. For F2P rerolling will be even more crucial I think.

There's this one character that some considered OP, Summer Zoeey. She's not always available but in the last legfest in early May she was in the draw pool.

Not available in local play store unfortunately. You need Qooapp (this one can find in play store) , which allows you to install Japanese region apps. It'll be considered as unknown sources by Android.

Alternatively some people skip the hassle and just play from PC/mobile internet browser. If I recall correctly, the link is something like game.granbluefantasy.jp. There's an option to change everything in English.
