hello, just wanted to ask whether it is possible to used 'fixed deposit' as an application to apply credit cards?

as i don't really have pay slip for my current job at the moment,
and what is minimum amount of fixed deposit amount to apply?
is there such thing available?

It is possible with some banks although they don’t publicize it. Only BSN mentioned a minimum of RM4k in SSP/FD required. Public bank mentioned the FD principal amount will be the CL.

1st time applying? Best look for Bank that approve easily and no AF. Try CIMB. Would wanna recommend Maybank, but need income 30k.
