QUOTE(-kytz- @ Apr 15 2017, 03:56 PM) Actually I can consider that. For me, points are just points. It's important to see what the points are actually worth. Assuming I get 100K points by spending RM20k during the weekends with the card. What can 100k points give me? I checked their treatpoints catalogue here: http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p.../PRO-Promotions90k could get me RM200 vouchers.. To also add in RM50 for the 5% weekend cashback. if you redeemed On-The-Spot at MB Card Centre, you actually get RM250 vouchers http://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/OTS-ctlg.pdf

QUOTE(jay2you @ Apr 18 2017, 10:59 AM) Looking for M2 cards as well, duno which CB is better. Citi CB card got annual fees right? QUOTE(adele123 @ Apr 18 2017, 11:46 AM) My perspective la... M2 Cards no annual fee great, but for petrol, if you are driving to work and frequent usage, it's kinda hard to just pump petrol during weekend. If you can managed, great. If not, citibank cash back. Annual fees? Use one year, then see if Citi waives, if not, bye lo doubt that citibank will waive fees your primary card will be m2 cards and if they don't accept amex, you can use quantum cards This post has been edited by DarReNz: Apr 18 2017, 11:56 AM

QUOTE(fAr3z @ Apr 18 2017, 04:32 PM) Hi All, 1. Annual Income: RM90K and above. 2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes could be better. 3. Card required for: Petrol, Easy payment, Bill payment, insurance. 4. Existing credit cards (if any): None except debit card 5. Interested in CC from: none 6. Others: I'm new to CC and don't have any idea at all on the pros of having it. Avoiding to involve on CC previously as I have seen a lot of bad example due to money management. But then, recently i just have a thought that i need it for buying some home appliances with easy payment scheme. Kindly advise me on this. if your insurance/bill payment you are using online to pay, can get public bank quantum cards, 0% interest flexipay for 12 months with min rm1.2k https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=84425714for petrol can apply mbb VS / mbb2cards This post has been edited by DarReNz: Apr 18 2017, 08:31 PM

Existing credit cards (if any): Never had a credit card
5. Interested in CC from: Any
6. Others: I am Malaysian working abroad in Europe. Never work in Malaysia and never had any taxes paid in malaysia. Always pay taxes abroad. Never had any asset/house/land/property in malaysia. Never applied for any PTPTN or any other loan. No credit card in Malaysia. Have bank account in Malaysia with Public bank. Transfer every month to Malaysia min RM 10K for above expenses. Not sure how to apply for credit card in Malaysia or if it is possible to due to zero credit history and tax history. Thinking of applying credit card for emergency situation and since there is regular expenses amounting to RM10K, then hopefully to accumulate some points for reward redemption or cash back or any other benefit.
thank you.
you can apply for public bank VS Overseas income • 3 months payslips • Employment Letter This post has been edited by DarReNz: May 1 2017, 07:56 PM

QUOTE(neo_6053 @ Jul 25 2017, 02:09 PM) 1. Annual Income: >RM70k 2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: yes or at least cheap annual fee. 3. Card required for: insurance : 600+ online : 200+ petrol: 250+ groceries: 600+ 4. Existing credit cards (if any): UOB One Platinum (Hate it's annual fee, cannot waive), Maybank 2 card (using only the visa, seems not much benefits, not sure should I activate the amex or not coz saw it got 5% cash rebate on weekend. been using it for 10+years) 5. Interested in CC from: any 6. Others : Prefer cash back than treat point coz i will not remember to use the treat point (wasted so many on Maybank) quantum cards will do since you have maybank 2 cards. you should be using only the amex for 5% cash rebate on all spending, visa can just leave in your drawer for cold storage
