1. Annual Income: Appreciate suggestion of credit card for annual income of <RM60k, and >RM60k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes (eg: free waiver after 12 swipes or so)

3. Card required for: Rough estimated usage of Petrol (RM200/month), Dining (RM200/month), Groceries (RM200/month), Movies/Online (RM100/month) - I expect an increase in online usage over next few months

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Nil.

5. Interested in CC from: Convenient banks which accept payments from maybank2u

6. Others:
Greetings all,

I have been using Debit Card all these while. Now looking for a credit card for better security. I might not need the best savings (eg: apply 2 cards, use Card A for Petrol and change to Card B for online billing), I am prefer to stick with one card for transactions.

Thank you for your recommendations.

CIMB Cash Rebate card, no fee charged, but giving cashbacks (online, groceries, etc). Good card for all general purpose use.

Thanks a bunch for your quick reply!

Speaking of which, may I just ask (out of curiousity), what happened to OCBC Titanium Cash Back card?
I searched lowyat.net for credit card recommendation long time ago (I can't really remember my previous ID - had to create new account now)... Back then everyone was recommending OCBC Titanium, and now it vanished from threads. Something changed?

Just saw HSBC offering 25k air Asia points when applying selected HSBC credit cards and spending accumulated 1k spending within 60 days from the date of Welcome letter :

https://sp.hsbc.com.my/aab/25k?WABFormEntry...&utm_medium=cpc

Question is whether can I get this promo and the Rm300 Lazada voucher promo at the same time? Lol

Is Hong Leong Mach the best cinema and dining card? I know there's Maybank 2 combo card but Amex is not always accepted in most eateries as compared to VISA..

I've already got Maybank Ikhwan Gold and Petronas card for TouchnGO and petrol respectively.. tongue.gif

HLB Mach with Movie category: 10% thumbup.gif

if you choose TrendSetter package (for Dining), you'd need to addon package for Movie (RM5 per quarter).
if you choose Social package (for Movie), you'd need to addon package for Dining (RM5 per quarter).

choose which package is more suitable for you, then addon the rest.
