Pbb quantum master - free annual free, 5% cashback on online & dining cap at RM30.

Uob Yolo - 5% cashback on dining, online & contactless, cap at Rm30.

Maybank Ikhwan: 5% rebate on petrol and groceries on Friday and Saturday, capped at maximum of RM50.00 per customer per month
Standard Charter Liverpool/JustOne Platinum: RM 2000 get RM 50/ RM 2500 get RM 60 (but with annual fee and possible to waive)

1. Annual Income: RM32,000.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Free

3. Card required for: just to have some credit record, probably petrol (petronas)

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Nope.

5. Interested in CC from: have bank accounts in HSBC, Maybank, CIMB, RHB so preferably from one of them.

6. Others: I would suggest MBB2cards to her but would like some other input as well.

Besides Maybank 2cards, she can consider...
Maybank Islamic MasterCard Ikhwan Platinum, 5% rebate on petrol and groceries on Friday and Saturday.

Public Bank: Quantum Master for online/e-wallet. Quantum Visa for groceries using payWave.
Maybank: FC Barcelona for insurance premiums

If the merchant is assigned a correct MCC, then it is not 1 of exclusion items by MBB FC Barcelona VS.
But we have no control on the merchant's Category Code (MCC).

3. Card required for: e-wallet (tng,grab, boost) & online purchases (shopee, foodpanda & lazada) cashback

4. Existing credit cards (if any): maybank ikhwan (previously focusing on petrol and groceries)

5. Interested in CC from: N/A

6. Others: I planing to divide all my spending through e-wallet where groceries can be paid through tng/boost/grab and petrol can be paid through setel. Is there any cc can earn cashback from my plan?

would like to ask if anyone is using Citi Simplicity Mastercard? or, would you recommend this card?

the replies from you guys here are really helpful - after reading them, i know which card is suitable for me and went ahead to apply them tongue.gif

this citybank simplisity however only gets mentioned 3 times in this thread, i wonder why, the 10% cb looks ok, did i miss something in the t&c?
