1. Annual Income: 50K (Can bump up to 100K if there's a great card)

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes

3. Card required for: Cash Back for petrol, dining and online transactions are important

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Hong Leong Wise

5. Interested in CC from: Any banks

6. Others: Going for the PB Visa Signature, maybe sifus here have other recommendations. I'm a very frugal person by nature, spending is at most maybe RM12K per annum from credit cards. Most of the transactions are on petrol, dining and online transactions (lazada and steam mostly). So I'm looking for cashbacks in that area.

Thank you all!  notworthy.gif

Ya, PBB VS, CIMB CR MasterCard for both for Online & if U Can't get PBB VS, then HLB Mach is Good for Dining + MBB Ikhwan MasterCard for Petrol, Groceries.

The HLB Mach sounds tempting... just wanted to clarify if I would need a minimum spending in order to be eligible for its CB? I read some things earlier and they said I need to have a minimum spending?

TQ

Nope. You must have read it wrongly. No minimum spending for HLB MACH.

get PBB VS first, if you can bump the annual income to RM100K

PBB VS 6% cashback for Grocery/Dining/Online. capped RM50 cb per statement month (~RM833 spending). if need more cb, apply supp card with separate statement. max RM50 cb will be separate for each card. no min spending for cashback. AF waived with 12 swipes per anniversary year.

MBB Mastercard Ikhwan 5% for Grocery/Petrol during Fri/Sat only. this is not weird because of certain states' "weekend" biggrin.gif

or get

MBB Visa Ikhwan Petronas 8% cashback for Petronas during weekend only. capped RM50 cb per calendar month (RM625 spending). get this if you have no loyalty to petrol brand and able to wait to pump during weekend Sat/Sun. if cannot wait, can purchase Petronas Gift Card and reload at Petronas @ Sungai Besi-Puchong Bypass station. use the Gift Card on any days but troublesome to go to this station to reload during weekend, especially you're not near this area.

Confirmed 2 things today. PB card services representative called me to verify my questions. Supplementary card details cannot be synced to primary card owner's e-banking account. Also, 9 supplementary cards is the maximum per primary card.
Cheers.
