You wan maybank 2 cards and barcelona is converntional you can try pledge 5k fd or higher you can try ask the bank officer and ikhwan islamic is different it wont share credit limit on conventional so you must pledge minimun 1k for ikhwan islamic.

Yes you need to stick which the rate bank offer.

Minimum income is 24k set by BNM, so it's not about easy or not.

As a start, go ahead and apply Maybank2Cards and Maybank FCB Visa Signature.
Read their respective threads for information, they should be able to cover all your expenses.

Of course, you can apply other cards to complement but let's start with these two first.

May I know which cashback card best for BHP petrol usage ?

Currently what I can think of is May bank Ikhwan master (5% for petrol on Fri & Sat)

For rest of days, Maybank FCB - 2% CB

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee:

A Must

3. Card required for:

Petrol on Weekdays, Cash Back/Rebate

4. Existing credit cards (if any):

MBB 2 Cards (AMEX & Visa),
HSBC Amanah MPower Platinum Cash Back,
PBB Quantum ("Just approved")

5. Interested in CC from:

Any. Was thinking MBB FCB but don't think I meet salary requirement bye.gif

6. Others:

Already using AMEX for weekend petrol.
Gonna use Quantum for Dining and Grocery.
Been using HSBC everything else, especially for weekdays petrol. Didn't really read their T&C and only realized BHP is not part of their "Petrol" Merchant, so no Cashback for me cry.gif
Looking to cancel HSBC and apply for another one in about 3-6 months.

Free Lifetime Annual Fee: YES

Card(s) required for: petrol/groceries

Existing credit cards (if any): Maybank 2 cards Platinum, Maybank FC Barcelona VISA

Interested in CC from: Maybank Petronas card

I was wondering which Maybank Petronas card should I get to pay for my car fuel. At the moment I use my Maybank 2 cards Amex for fuel and utilities bill on weekend, and it always reach the MAX cash rebate RM50.

I used Maybank FC Barcelona Visa for dining, insurance, children's tution, shoppings and always max cash rebate

Now I like a fuel card. THanks smile.gif
