Does it impact on the card limit?
Or does the card even have limit?

Like let's say, card credit limit is 20K.

Buy stuff RM12K on January.
Asked for installment RM1K for 12 month.

So Credit limit on January, left RM8K?
And on February, credit limit become RM9K left because we already settled that RM2K already?
*
Yes. After make monthly instalment, credit limit will release month by month lo.

ohh.. i check it.. but it's only available until 31st December 2017
any more flexible cc? >< beside this
*
It is the most flexible already since until Dec 17.
As I know, most of the bank promote their 0% BT only for new to bank customer
and plus only certain period.
Like I know Ambank have it too but until 31 Aug only.

Hi May I ask which Ambank Card provide RM1 =1point for government transaction? I did check their TnC, they said Ambonus point/Bonuslink point not rewarded for charity & government transaction.

I already Checked the T&C from Generic Normal CC (Gold, Plat, VS, WMC) All Entitled Rewards Point on Government Transaction.
I think Only other Co-Brand or BonusLink CC Can't get Rewards Point from Government Transaction.
Why not you Call CS to check with Them...
https://www.ambank.com.my/ambank/Documents/...nusTnCEngBM.pdf

Yes urs one TNC is Jan 2015 version, I think they did revise as I checked that one is July 2017 version. Just ask, think won't swipe it for government transaction too. Lol just curious.

shi fu ,

what do u think getting UOB one card mainly for petrol purpose?

i know there is AF, but do u think it is easy to waive the AF ?  hmm.gif
*
For my case cannot waive after 2 years usage.
Why dont consider CIMB Cash Back Plat? 24k annual income,
petrol 2% cb everyday.
UOB one 1% only for weekday.

1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM60K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: either one is ok, but i heard can call and waive it no?

3. Card required for: Petrol (main reason), cash back / rebate for movies, online shopping(secondary reason), use for future installment plan (secondary reason).

4. Existing credit cards (if any): This will be my first cc

5. Interested in CC from: UOB Yolo, UOB One card, Standard Charted JustOne.

Did a bit for surveying myself. Was interested in oversea bank like UOB & Standard Charted. Found this ringgitplus website which seems like all cc in 1 website info. Seems like CIMB Petronas Mastercard and Petronas Maybank Visa suits me too.

Like I stated above, main usage would be petrol, hence petrol rebate is main reason. Then also cash back / rebate on movies and online shopping.

So far I think it's between CIMB Petronas Mastercard, Petronas Maybank Visa, UOS One card or Stand Chart JustOne. Any more recommendation? Really newbie here, first time getting cc. laugh.gif

Any input is welcomed.

For what I have is

Maybank 2 card. Visa and AMEX. With AMEX giving 5% on cash rebate on weekend.

Then saw this HSBC Amanah i card with 8% cashbacks on Petrol and Groceries which is better than AMEX. Correct me if I'm wrong.

And then found out that I card is Islamic card which have limitations in using the card at Overseas then since I'm a frequent flyer i go for HSBC Visa Platinum which have me higher credit limit too.

Then realise I don't have MasterCard and browse around to come across this CIMB Enrich Platinum MasterCard with more benefits for frequent flyer, entries to Golden Lounge and etc. Since I have an Enrich member card I try to apply and got it approve with additional Visa Platinum given as combine limit.

That's all I have and to avoid having more credit card, I gotta stop applying. Lol
*
HSBC amanah the 8% cash back it's complicated to compute the cash back, and have minimum spending, u can't get the 8% in full too. Thus Maybank 2 is still the best. U can head to HSBC thread seek for more advice.

Can't seem to find anywhere whether there is no CB for government transactions for SCB cashback gold MasterCard. I did see the clause for JustOne Platinum card.
*
Yes. Government transaction entitle cash back for SCB cash back gold. I tried. For that card, only petrol and insurance transaction excluded.

SCB Justone I never redeem once successfully. So dislike those with quota one, so I stick with HLB Mach.
SCB Justone always fully redeemed even I buy it morning.

do you know how much for the annual fees? or swipe example 12 times to wavier?
*
Check this > http://www1.uob.com.my/personal/useful/fee..._annualfee.html

Annual fee is waived upon (1) swipe per month at any amount (total twelve (12) swipes per year). > this for YOLO.
But One Card depend on bank decision, can try to call CS for waiver.
(my experience : I cancelled One Card due to bank refuse to waive AF)

Does bank look at gross or net annual income after tax and EPF? Got rejected for Maybank2Card Platinum but approved for Gold
*
Look at Gross, but normally bank look at fixed income only. Like gross salary + fixed allowance. Do them reach 60k?
