affin vs for paywave (<rm250 per txn)

Eh I am also interested in this Affinbank Signature. Any hidden TNC or just paywave at any amount then I'll get the rebate?

affin vs ... 3% paywave, max cb RM80 per month, no min spending.

exclusion: govt and charity

caveat: paywave txn RM250 or below (as long as no PIN is entered) --- if PIN ever entered, not eligible! (unlike pb quantum visa)
*
Ehhh pb Quantum visa if enter PIN also eligible for cash back?? I didn't know that!

yes, pb quantum visa ... if paywave but >rm250, then enter PIN, will get cashback biggrin.gif

good to wave for txn <rm600 to maximize cb laugh.gif

too bad Affin VS cannot, if not, damn good already
*
Hmm that's good. Currently in need to replace my Maybank Barcelona since it has been revised to 1%. Affinbank VS should be a good choice.

Any credit card acquisition campaign? I saw one from HSCB which spend 10 retail transaction and get 200 cash rebate.

Is there a similar one for Standard Chartered or other banks?

I do have PBB, Maybank and Citibank already.

You need to pay manually using their portal. If auto charge then won't be entitled for cashback

Check out Affin Duo visa
*
QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Feb 3 2021, 09:49 AM)
For online transaction, you need to use Great Eastern ePay.
Direct/Auto Debit is not online transaction.
*
Thanks for the recommendation guys. Shit it's doing auto payment from my credit card...not sure how I can change that to manual online transaction hmm.gif

Looking to get another credit card for online insurance payment. I already got PBB Visa Signature and PBB Quantum. Was thinking Affibank Duo but gonna ask her to see if there's better alternative.

You may opt for newly-revamped Public Islamic Bank Visa Platinum Credit Card-i.
4% Cashback for Online and Oversea transactions, capped at RM30.

For more info, https://www.pbebank.com/Personal-Banking/Ca...dit-Card-i.aspx

Hope this helps.

Oh that's a good 1. Seems like I can use it for online payment on insurance.

Too many to list out. Be more specific, what category?
*
No specific category.. Can be miscellaneous.

I already have PBB Quantum for online and wave, PBB Visa Signature and Affin bank Visa Signature... But all of these are mostly for online and wave transactions.

Anything more than 250 that requires PIN, I can't get any rebate.

Then Maybank FCB VS is good at 1% CB, except government-related transaction (MCC9***), ewallets and utilities (electricity and water). CB Capped at RM50 per calendar month.
*
Used to have this but I cancelled it because they revised it to 1% hahaha.. Looks like this is still a good option..at least better than nothing.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jul 24 2021, 12:23 PM)
PBB VS gives CB for dining and grocery for non-wave too
*
Yea but only dining and grocery.

Why ya? Cause no cash rebates?
