1. Annual Income: RM24K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes. (any t&c to waive annual fee? 12swipe?)

3. Card required for: Petrol, Cash Back/Rebate, Online purchase, phone topup.

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Nil.

5. Interested in CC from: Citibank - Nil.

6. Others: Don't mind reward point, more cash back better.
*
CIMB Cash Rebate MasterCard.

Since you're not having Credit History from any Bank before, Citibank won't Approve their card to you as they want ppl with at least 1 year credit History & most of their Cards come with Annual Fee .

Thanks! Are the PBB Quantum 2 Cards come together or separate?

Can you explain more on "M2C Good on PTPTN"?

basically, this PBB Quantum and M2C is almost the same, am I correct?

Sorry for asking so much, still noob even I did a lot research.  cry.gif

Much thanks!  notworthy.gif

PBB Quantum will come with 2cards together...

Using Maybankard 2 AMEX to Pay for PTPTN - Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional
Login to your Penyata Baki and pay using credit card. Then key in your AmEx card number with the 4 digit CVV at the front of the card, make sure to do it only on weekends to get 5%.

Is it possible if I apply for both at the same time?
Coz I can swipe Ikhwan card  5% cashback on Friday. One weekday is better than none XD
*
Advice to apply M2C 1st, later only get Ikhwan becos Ikhwan is most difficult to get CC. M2C you can CB on anything you Spend on Weekends not limited to Petrol & Groceries only like Ikhwan.

None of Credit Card will suited your Needs..
the real reason that brokerage services won't let you invest with credit cards is because they would be charged a transaction fee for accepting your credit card - this would then have to be factored into their own fees.

I would like to have a cashback online credit card.

Which of these 2 cards has the best benefits?

Cimb cash rebate vs public bank quantum master

PBB
Quantum MC - 5% Cash Back on Online & Dining transactions, capped at RM30 per monthly statement cycle equivalent to RM600 spend.

CIMB CR MasterCard- 5% CB capped at RM30 per month However, NO CB earn on Flight Ticket Purchase.

CIMB got Charge Cross Border transaction fees, PBB Doesn't...

3. Card required for: Petrol / PTPTN

4. Existing credit cards (if any): HLB Essential

5. Interested in CC from: Any bank as long as my application got approved doh.gif

6. Others: Hope to get cash back on Petrol instead of points. However, would possible if you compare them points vs cash bank, which one is better.
*
I) SCB Cashback Gold: 2 - 5% CB with min spend $500, NO CB for Petrol, Insurance Transactions. However, It's Good on PTPTN Payment.
https://www.sc.com/my/credit-cards/goldcard/gold-card.html

ii) Alliance You:nique: 0.5 - 3% CB from RM0 - RM3000 Spending, & also Good for PTPTN.
http://www.alliancebank.com.my/younique

Monthly Spend (RM) Rebate (%)
0 - 1,000 0.50
1,001 - 2,0001.50
2,001 - 3,0003.00
> 3,0000.30

HOW Alliance You:nique Cashback tier Works - RM3000 (Spend) = RM (1000 x 0.5%) + (1000 x 1.5%) + (1000 x 3%) = 5 + 15 + 30 = Max. RM50 CB, & after RM3k it's Only 0.3% (No Cap).

So far how many Bank have rejected your Apps, already...???
