Sivana is the effectively the new boss after he massacred the boardroom. Corporate do PR clean ups all the time and often don't make the headlines 2. Shazam sat pretty far away and Sivana was close to the orb. Also, the wizard was pretty shocked that Sivana was there in the first place, that gave sivana a window of opportunity to grab the orb 3. She's the smart one in the family, hence she could deduce that with the few clues she has. Also, darla confirmed it immediately once she pointed it out. Once she got shazamified, her main trait is wisdom and she also told billy how to defeat sivana by drawing out the last sin 4. See explanation #1 5. Same reason why jonah jameson couldn't tell that peter parker is spiderman despite being told by peter that he's spiderman's best pal. Just kidding, their fight broke out after the newspeople left. Anyways, they're acting like real newspeople, they're not psychic and not everything is newsworthy 6. They've only been gone for few hours, no reason to panic 7.
