Another question is, what difference between DiGiC II & DiGiC III?? Does we really need it?

No point using higher speed card on a camera like the S3 IS. The camera cannot write as fast as the card reads. 4GB on the S3 IS definitely can, Sandisk SDs. Other brand I dunno.

exactly something I'd like to know too. Have anyone tested S3 with 4GB card or above? If yes what is the brand? I also heard that the speed could be slower on >=4GB card, which means it doesn't run at full speed as rated on the card. Someone kindly advise please. Thanks

as i know, normal 4GB SD memory card cofirm can use, just wonder is SDHC type 4GB SD memory card can use or not.
