Previously on Unifi 100mbps. Just upgraded to Maxis 300 mbps.
a) using maxis router it went smooth, speedtest normally 280-290 mbps on wifi 5 device
b) using edgerouter the speedtest like stuck at 100 mbps. This is about the same with my unifi 100mbps.

what went wrong? internal speedtest from NAS to wifi 5 devices all registered above 300. some even hit 450mbps. so internally I dont think it has any problem

Hi all, sorry for reviving an old post. I am interested in getting an used ERX for my Unifi 300 connection. Currently I am using a D-Link X1870 mesh wifi, and I am thinking to replace it with ERX + Deco mesh (AP passthrough). Has anyone done this before, and is there any benefit in this? My idea is to separate WiFi from routing, where the mesh will simply handle WiFi traffic, while ERX performs the heavy lifting of PPPoE / routing / NAT / DHCP / parental control / etc. This is to achieve stability of the overall setup.
