some question regarding data backpack/international roaming

currently just activated my international roaming, during activation at berjaya times square, they said that i need to pay rm200 deposit to active due to my account haven 6 month.

While i ask how to i get refund back on the counter at times square, they said that i need to cancel the international roaming before 6 month to get back the refund, if not after 6 month, it will need to terminate my account to get the refund back(while most of the people cant get refund after terminate their u mobile).

So currently i just called to u mobile customer service just to terminate my international roaming to get my deposit back, but they said that they cannot refund unless i have terminate or after 6 month need to call u mobile customer service again to deactivate since im already 6 month on U mobile and no need to pay for deposit to active again.

So my question is i wonder that did i able to get back my deposit back before 6 month? both U mobile worker said the different thing. While i really dun mind terminate this U mobile while their service is really really bad

Umobile do have extended vadility and can ask umobile implemented it? Like 3 moth vadility rm 10

Mind asking how did you come up with 187Mbps with only 15MHz FDD?

20MHz only allows you 150Mbps.
Considering you only have 5MHz for 1800MHz and 10MHz for 2600MHz, that's a total of 15MHz for download channel.

Effectively with 20% overheads taken into account, 15MHz with 2CA can only afford speeds no more than 90Mbps at any time even when you're the only few users connected to the base station.

[ (15/20) X 150Mbps ] x 0.8 = 90Mbps

My credit expired already but can not surf my internet how come ?I am using power prepaid, before this my credit expired still surf the Internet .. How come?

A guess is not a definitive proof. Install network guru and see for yourself what's the network band. I have found no proofs anywhere on the Internet that u mobile is using 1800mhz 4G band. U Mobile currently has no 1800 spectrum in use. It has been allocated spectrums in 900 and 1800 bands, but this is only effective after July this year. The spectrum reallocation in 2016 was the latest one in many many years, there was no changes since u mobile was founded.

Btw I'm using celcom.

I believe Umobile's Band3(1800MHz) is not utilizing 15MHz. It's less than 10MHz maybe only 5MHz.

Why I feel it's probably 5MHz is because when I'm only on Band3(China phone), my speeds are similar to Webe, quite slow sometimes even slower than 3G DC-HSPA+ at ~15Mbps-17Mbps. It has similar performance to their upload channel which also I believe is also limited to 5MHz that's why you can't upload more than 20Mbps??

Not sure it'll change in coming months but maybe they'll increase the bandwidth as more is released by MCMC.

When 2CA applied for LTE-A,
Should be 1.5 X 75Mbps = 112.5Mbps when 20% overhead taken into account = 0.8 X 112.5Mbps = Max 90Mbps

That's for now la. Maybe will improve as they get their hands on more bandwidth.
