The new U38 with unlimited calls and 5GB looks good though.
*
Yes, it is great for the plan and package
But the coverage is horrible

No choice if you want cheap.  laugh.gif

But is is me or even the 2G line is bad, always disconnect especially when you are travelling in the car.

Now digi prepaid offers RM38/mth

1000 free call to all network
4GB internet
Unlimited FB access

And the best part it is Prepaid.

I am keen to port from Umobile to this.

It sucks so bad

I tried doing Uber with it

Horrible experience
Fortunately most of my passengers knew the route.

The last trip I did was foreigner.

I was stressed out as the line become 0

I had to use my own due diligence to find the destination..

Yes, its good. And Digi's network is way way more stable and faster. But no data roaming for Rm10 per day though.  sweat.gif
Yes, sad to say the network is like a hit and miss. It could be ok and suddenly lost connection. If you really rely on it for work, I suggest dont. Until UMobile does something about their network, it best you dont rely too much on it.

I seldom travel overseas.
So it doesn't matter.

It's sickening.
I was using Hero P70 and got sick of it.

That's why I switched back to Prepaid.

Now, I am waiting for the 30 days cooling period and will port out to Digi.

Why cant straight port out from P70? Should not be a problem if you are not under contract.
*
Don't want to get any unwanted trouble.
E.g. Kena charge additional 1 month / Cannot port out due to 'unsettled' bills.

You'll nvr know what will happen.

At least prepaid is pretty straightforward.

Prepaid No credit, cannot overuse.
Postpaid can overbill you.

No idea..
Used to had very BAD EXPERIENCE with CELCOM POSTPAID.

Postpaid I guess it'll be more to contractual basis if there is any.
If don't have then should be fine.

Well, successfully port in to Maxis (again) 2x port out already from Maxis. Currently enjoying the speed and stability of maxis network.

Will be back to Umobile if the network becomes stable like before.

Maxis Postpaid plans these days all come with 'unlimited calls'. As a matter of fact, Maxis is the first telco in Malaysia to offer unlimited calls. The rest are just copycat.

The cheapest standard plan is RM98/month. For East Malaysia, the cheapest plan is RM68/month.
*
Still expensive though.

I am looking for a telco which offers unlimited call for Prepaid..

QUOTE(scamboy @ Apr 16 2017, 04:50 PM)
Digi- Its an add on pack and have to be renewed monthly, meaning Digi can stop offering the RM38 add on anytime.

U Mobile P38 is postpaid, they can take out all those free streaming but they simply cannot reduce the Internet GB or take out Unlimited Voice calls, as long as you pay your bill.
*
QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Apr 16 2017, 03:25 PM)
Judging from all the prepaid and postpaid plans they have introduced over the last few months, i don't think they will.

Having been a DiGi user for 13 years now and a Maxis user on and off over the years, Maxis after all, do have a more stable service compared to DiGi. I do have some issues with DiGi 4G LTE service at major shopping centres such as Mid-Valley Megamall and KLCC where the DiGi 4G LTE signal is on but the internet is unusable. I frequently face such issue at Mid-Valley South Court area, inside AEON Supermarket on LG and near the toilet area near to CIMB Bank/Kim Gary Restaurant but never had any issue with Maxis. Whenever Maxis data becomes unusable it normally is because it fails to connect to Maxis 4G LTE.
1,000 minutes with 4GB data for RM38/month is probably the best deal you can get for a Prepaid plan now. Otherwise another alternative is the U Mobile P38 Postpaid plan but U Mobile internet is really slow most of the times. Unless you're a salesman who only cares about unlimited calls, one is better off staying with DiGi and pay RM38 to DiGi every month.

Great news

My job requires to be on call when there is breakdown
In operations industry

Not willing to fork out so much for a postpaid nor prepaid
Line must be good too
Umobile line's horrible
