I'm on my 3rd month on trying out their service and I'm not going to renew this U(TTERSHITE) Mobile.

I'm in the middle of Bangsar South and although my phone is on LTE, I can't even stream Spotify. Every web page takes 4 refresh before it can load properly.
Heck, I'm writing this out right now on my workplace's VPN internet connection! This U(SELESS) Mobile is so bad that an internet VPN from Australia is more reliable!

This U(NUSABLE) Mobile marketing can give 100GB per day quota as they know NO ONE is able to use even 1GB with their terrible connections.

Agree, umobile is starting to have infinte ideas to cheat their customers... very bad very sad

it cannot switch anymore after they launch unlimited power prepaid.
webe also capped video on standard defination. what mean cheating? they write it very clearly in their website. this is use to avoid congestion. if you dont like it then just unsubscribe video onz and use ur main data like a boss.
how come u say that? they are not cheating while they are facing high congestion on their network. they are now only has band 7 10mhz in most of the area. with this frequency it will be easily congest than other telco such as maxis and celcom which has at least more than one band and up to 20mhz frequency. hope you do research before saying this. Expected they will solve congestion on july.
*
Ok, then webe is also cheating. Hate all those marketing gimmick that says unlimited but hidden capped speed limited. And then go promote how fast is their 4g network.
FYI, the 1.5mbps is never mention in any T&C.... show me if you have it...

Come on I am a consumer, if you can't sell it then don't promote it. Imagine you go a 2L car, then when you get the car it's only 1L small engine. Then the salesman tells you sorry due to cost issue n company facing stock problem we can only deliver you a 1L car but same price... sorry ah, we are working on the problem... bullshit congestion theory...
I am not needed to do research bcos I don't run the company... bro i am the customers. Do you know what is customers???

You are talking about being a consumer. But you yourself didn't be a smart consumer. Read before buy anything always. Always do some research before buying something. That IS a smart consumer. Not just being a consumer without knowing nothing and then blaming someone all the time
*
I didnt blame soneone but i blame the sellers... why are you all so protective of the sellers... something fishy here devil.gif hmm.gif

Tell me you all find any wording of speed capping in brochures???

It's not about being protective. It's about being a smart consumer
You think everything in this world is free eh? Not even one telcom that are truly honest. Just use Maxis lor, better quality maa. Don't buy cheap2 like U Mobile rite? More $ = more quality isnit? (sarcasm)
*
rclxm9.gif like yr positive view on this, btw i didnt get anything free. Im paying $102 each month for h98... so its NOT ok. Why you all thinking unlimited data no capping is free?

Whats the diff between hero98 vs mb128?
Looks like there is no advantage paying more for mb128... correct
Anybody tried mb128? Is it faster speed , maybe no trottle capping?

Have been streaming youtube like nobodys business. That speed is more than enough to stream any youtube video. Its not like u watching 4k content all the time.
*
not 4K la, try 720p... it will buffer like hell... if you got 2 devices sharing worst... only 360p for each.. and youtube keep auto switching to the lowest 144p, which is blur blur type...

Speed is one issue. Another issue is there are just too many blind spots where network will stop working. It will still show LTE or 3G but internet just wont load.
*
for some reasons, sometimes 3G is getting faster speed around 15mbps compared to 4glte signal. i notice switching to H+ 3G is faster....could be less people using 3G... or is it the same since same tower?

Is it the speedtest using umobile server is showing very high speed 25 Mbps. Is this faked by umobile, only internal speed. But when change to other servers like celcom or maxis, or even sgpore servers, showing very much lower performance.

just use umobile for normal call as they offer cheapest call rate in the market.. data really cannot depends on them . i just waste 6GB of data this month which are unusable. just wait one day they solve the issue then i will come back for them.
*
Now you know why i was saying this telco is cheating by over promising services they cannot supply... hero98 is not free but speed is lousy and with capping making it worst...

I guess i will be porting over to digi150 plan to try out. Hopefully digi is trully offering infinite internet speed without capping speed to lousy 1.5mbps like umobile.
I use less than 30gb per month, but i expect full speed when i am using it... simple request only...

i had bad experience with DIGI before porting to Umobile, about 2 years ago.

i got a msg from DIGI offering Xiaomi Mi3 for only RM1 as a free device for free upgrade plan to a 2 years contract of RM150/RM128 (can't remember) per month.

First few months bill was waived as they give rebate for device price or something, then another few months after that they told me it was a mistake.

Their staff mistaken my contract for new sign up not existing upgrade which should not be given any rebate. So i have to pay back all the money of rebate without any choice at total of over RM800.

Since it's their staff who did the mistake then why i am the one to pay for the loss caused by their own mistake???  ranting.gif  ranting.gif  ranting.gif
wonder if anyone had this kind of experience before which u were told the rebate was a mistake & forced to pay back all the rebated money  bangwall.gif

Using Digi i150 now and i am from PJ, the speed average here 20mbps-25mbps.
previous was a umobile user but the coverage and speed is a biggest disappointment... bye.gif

Very good news to hear this from i150 user. How about speed capping or any hidden quota?
