using p98 for my home internet using usb modem since average speed here +-15mbps and can reaching 25mbps off peak, and add on share20 for my phone's data to share 30gb data(only main data not video onz), it is far more better than what streamyx promising..

My modem is e372, i use metteor link 3g yagi external antenna bought from some random guy in this very forum, make sure the antenna connector is right because there's 2 type of connector. Your modem e3372 need two antennas i think for better reception coz 4g modem right?btw, umobile support MIMO mode? |

QUOTE(property direction @ Feb 20 2017, 02:58 PM) how much is the modem? i m searching for 4g mifi long time, but all are expensive, the cheapest one is huawei e5373, rm250 in lazada, consider to buy it, consider also to buy umobile 4g mifi, duno can buy without sign plan or not. I think better you just use normal usb modem and buy 3/4g router to create hotspot. Suggest tpLink tl-mr3220/3420 which is below 100 and powered by ac,so no worries about battery and you can get always online connection. |

QUOTE(ibnmurad @ Feb 22 2017, 11:31 PM) Which means, if sim put in mifi/router will save a lot of data quota? Just upgrade to P98 if you haven't already, no worries bout video onz appz on whatsoever. unlimited, not like yellow one which is unlimited stream youtube but fair usage policy applies(10gb)Since not utilizing paid quota (only use unlimited Fb quota)? What about FB videos, will consume unlimited App Onz data or from Video Onz data (but which will be consumed first)? |

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Feb 23 2017, 10:12 AM) UM line is too ridiculous... keep switching between EDGE or HSPA You should lock the network to 3g only for stable connection because Umobile always got problem in between transition let say from 4g to 3g or 2,there'll be H+ sign but no data transmission. if your phone doesn't support this funtion, then i suggest u shuld find one, mostly samsung phone can lock 3g only. And my mobile network sometimes keep changing between "MY Maxis" and "U Mobile". Haizzz.. Give me so big quota, can't utilize 50% quota. What for? |

QUOTE(esmonde @ Mar 2 2017, 02:37 PM) Hi Everyone, I suggest you terminate the MB68 and subscribe to P98 which offer like 5x more data with unlimited video onz like me. I also put the P98 sim into usb modem hehehe. Dont bother to worry about peak and off-peak anymore lorrr Actually I am trying to look for an answer for the AppOnz, VideoOnz etc. Tried to go through the U Mobile website but can't find any info. I am using broadband plan MB68 with a MIFI. Which means I do not use the app straight from phone. This broadband is shared to my laptop and phone, do I still able to enjoy the Onz stuffs? I also tried to Ask U Mobile in Facebook, they answer me can and send me the same webpage that I gone through. |

QUOTE(fairylord @ Mar 5 2017, 12:35 PM) asked Telco, they said we clicked something I think this nonsense usually happens to new customer who bought new sim new number, the service had been automatically subscribed by the last person who use that number (telco re-sell the expired number normally), subscribed by clicking on the popup browser for example "your samsung J7 had been infected by virus bla bla, insert your phone number to secure your phone bla bla bla..". Usually happens to non savvy customer, they dont know how to cancel the service(or the sevices can't be cancelled),then just let the number expired, so the new user will kena and so on.. In my opinion coz i got friend who kena this bullshit and can't cancel it, so just throw the sim.Given understanding the 37886 charges was by Everworks Solutions Sdn Bhd, 0388009999, www.everworks.net. (Tomorrow will call for refund as today Sunday) Found a post in Lowyat, send command SMS STOP ALL to 37886, charged RM0.15 for this SMS not FOC. Received response SMS :"...Subscription to 37886 has been terminated..." To reconfirm by sending another command STOP QS as in the 4/3 SMS, charged another RM0.15 for this command SMS. Received response SMS :"You have not subscribed to the service. To subscribe to service send ON <keyword> to 37886" Umobile SC mentioned to call them for refund and details, if no refund to avail, provide Umbile the details of tele-covnersation for umobile to lodge my complaint to MCMC. |
