Must be brought forward from previous month. umobile page still states 30 minutes.

Opss, it is Carry Forward Talktime.
My bad as this is my second month with umobile.

Thank you for your answer.
*
yup maximum 2 months total free mins could be accumulated, so if u can't finish 30 mins within ur 2nd month, ur 3rd month would be still 60 mins only

Hi. I recently bought a U-Mobile to test coverage at my area. I can get good signal and decent speeds and now I decided to port my main prepaid line (Hotlink) to umobile. Do I need to get a new sim or I can use the one that I already have?
*
haha if converting to umobile postpaid plan then consider convert with me to enjoy further discount brows.gif

QUOTE(Madd3rz @ Dec 28 2016, 08:24 PM)
Eh I thought updating the games will consume the main normal data , still can update till 7gb ?
*
if u put it overnight, is possible, sometimes during off peak hours, the capped speed sometimes do exceed 64kbps

that's what i thought at first, but i did downloaded around 40gb, not just dota2, other steam games also can..

didn't notice any throttling during the download tho, peaking at 1.5MBps (megabyte not megabit), but average download around 500-600kBps
*
btw, what games need 40gb download volume ah, just being curious
i tot only porn can tongue.gif

CnY Garage, for first time u card registration, the U app prompted two options, 1) Register my U Card now  2) Give me a Virtual U Card.
What's the difference between the two ? Thank you.
*
better register virtual 1, so u can login anywhere anytime

it would display inside ur My U Mobile Apps, just show it to scan to get discount like Starbucks drool.gif

Maxis is definitely better but if I don't use even 10% of what they give me in their plans, I should just look for others that is more cost saving and suitable for my needs.

Edit: right now I am outside and the Internet seems incredibly fast and stable for some reasons. Maybe it's my condo that's affected.
*
umobile's indoor coverage and signal strength is relatively weaker, expect for next year better indoor coverage spectrum

That page is bonuses page, no language option there. Try *118*6# and post the screenshot.
*
try *118*6*6# for prepaid

or *118*7*4# for postpaid

I have two u mobile numbers. Is it possible to mnp the secondary line to digi, but maintain the primary line with u mobile?
*
haha u mean MNP ur Supp line into umobile

1. convert ur supp line into prepaid first ( have to wait 1 month to port out to umobile)
2. convert into another single main line postpaid then only port to umobile ( need to pay stamp duty and bla bla bla )

may convert that into umobile with me to enjoy discount too oh brows.gif

Not good. Others are coming in closely already. So if UMobile doesn't rethink its strategy, then they will lose out ultimately.
*
they are like focus on postpaid more than prepaid now, since prepaid calling is the least demanded ( normally data / sms like umi 30, credit transfer, long term validity ...) increase of the rate should be still ok since digi/ maxis /celcom still far more expensive than umobile 1

QUOTE(izwanikhsan @ Jan 3 2017, 06:44 PM)
So only registration of new plan/number/port in got commission? Is UMOBILE being too comfortable with their position as the 4th largest telco?
*
prepaid convert to postpaid also got

postpaid ported out to other telco and port back within 6months also 0 commission,
they are planning to make profit to get listed after few years trial d,
cutting benefit from dealers bottom of the pyramid and support premier dealers for Phone bundle plan, subsidy to start more premier shop like Digi specialized store or maxis exclusive partner rather than normal phone shop / mini market....

Of course. Postpaid is where all the money is coming from. For postpaid customers, you use or dont use, you have already commited to the monthly commitment which you have signed up for.
*
base on the statistic, postpaid users are less likely to switch telco like prepaid, subscribe more data (booster), purchase more apps and in-apps purchase (google play) and more roaming charge

while prepaid users are more cost productive, and hardly giving more offer / promotion to them since there is no commitment, lack of address or more personal data during their first registration in old time ( now registering prepaid also have to provide full detail , but still not a common practise for most dealers )
