is that some SD channels has already adopted 16:9 ratio?
saw that in Arena SD CH 801, and recently NHK World has turned into 16:9

other channels such as CGTN, CCTV4 also seemingly turned into wide ratio

i wonder why some channels are permitted to show in native 16:9 albeit in SD, while some channels like HBO SD, Xinghe, TVBC, CNN etc still show in  letterboxed 16:9

FYI, not many foreign channels that still shows in 4:3 these days

Haha and from my experience as HR officer they foreign workers even buy the entire LCD back 2 their home country as if there is no LCD at all in their home country

For example for Indians.. Heard their TV sets slap with high tax.. Now got even GST of 28% way higher than ours

For Game of Thrones, their live TV is either blurred or zoomed in. However hehehehe.. in OD, its not censored at all. I have downloaded all seasons in OD and its full uncut scenes. Confirm

P/S: Hope Astro can add Animax HD sooner..

Sound quality is quite different when comparing the OD on TV with on astroGo one (not internet speed related). Nothing is perfect, btw.

Also, dat huge obnoxious logo.

i notice that in Astro Go and also VOD according to a forummer here, no censor was done --- for Game of Thrones

it's a loophole.. OTT and VOD doesn't consider as "broadcast" here
