Astro last time 2014 say 10 new channel. But 8 HD & 2 SD only.

But astro not see TM as competitor. They coverage not as wide like astro.

That gonna be long to wait. Even i know people all have access to TNB service. But, atleast there is something say will cover 6 million than just standard 1 million premise cover in 2010.

And that 1 million now expand to more area. Just hope atleast can subscribe to 10mbps unlimited torrent & game ping unifi soon...

HyppSports 3 HD open for 3 month to all non-TM Unifi customer to watch through that Unifi PlayTV app. Picture is low than iflix. But, now iflix cannot watch.

That say even astro not showing live for MSL.
The crew that shot the picture in 1080 HD format is from Astro Arena crew.

Some match iflix add from local fta station feed like TV9 in 4:3 mode last night Melaka vs Kelantan. It look like 16:9 feed TV9 being to 4:3 mode.

We are slave blind for TV.
Even we have power to just terminate or stop pay astro we can't bcoz astro is too good.

Iflix first day cannot stream properly MSL.
Netflix? Later people complaint their service become like iflix.

Server cannot handle too much people.
Even astro go crash/error during start EPL match LIVE.

If want to compare.
Need to compare with same technology.

If compare satellite vs IPTV. Not fair.
That why TM Unifi TV is better.

So, for now we get the best HD channel like watch HD in youtube TV app.

Why not like it when majority is like what astro doing. I like astro move to have more local show than add new rubbish channel that no people interested to watch.

Beside that, all good channel is on astro now. Some need to be upgrade to HD like AFC & other. Kinda annoy me no AFC HD. I want to watch Asia cook in beautiful stunning HD. Not western food show everyday.

Want latest movie & anime. Go pirate.
Want good local drama. Go watch astro. Simple.

Bcoz no matter how much astro add foreign channel. They will censor the best part...

Some OD content come with small subtitle.

Last time if not wrong. World Cup Pass for RM100.
For sure this time more than that.

Well, need Sports Pass for SD channel. RM50 maybe. No way people want to watch in SD anymore... for legacy or non byond HD customer. Pay full RM35 for Winter Olympic but watch in SD channel just a waste of money.

Anyway, just tune to Arena for final LIVE. Hope this year got.

Astro promise that all EPL match will be show LIVE.

Maybe additional match you mention is only available in Astro GO. Or maybe that time all 4 supersports channel full. Remaining live match in Astro GO.

Last month, Pyeongchang Olympic got free 1 exclusive channel free.

Maybe, next target non astro customer like customer that use Unifi to use to watch astro channel in different platform. Now see Live TV in HD channel so much improve & definitely look in 720p HD atleast.

From last year astro go get new look & next maybe introduce astro go app built in on Smart TV like Netflix. Offer both Live TV & On Demand. Also, HBO movies in Astro Go no longer free. Need to subscribe Movies Pack to watch.

No surprise as they already say more HD content will come from last year launch. New feature like Chromecast support & Kids mode & buy TV channel using Credit Card in Google Play Billing. Now Tonton from Media Prima got Chromecast support. But, content is not in real HD. Anyway, they have more money. So, can improve the streaming service. Just hope next is not just give exclusive channel in astro go. Already 1 year still not available in Byond HD STB.

Oh yea, they use Amazon service.
So, better than iflix & tonton?

For me, just watch final only in Astro Arena.
Or this year need to subscribe that expensive pack. What me know is, any pack you upgrade like Value or Super. Need to stay for 6 month period. Early downgrade time before contract finish. Need to pay penalty.

Astro go got chromecast support now?
They say since April 2017 about this new feature & today still not available yet. If use Screen Mirroring only live channel for now. On Demand got different playback maybe. I suggest you to use Mi Box like that user post. Better picture.

Just test watch HD channel in astro go. 30 minute of watching in HD will eat 800MB data. That a lot. SD channel still in 4:3. Only PC can adjust aspect ratio. For app still cannot.

Oh yea, since astro not offer Disney Channel HD. Some of the cartoon available in Disney On Demand with HD quality with BM dub. Show like Stitch & Ai.

Astro Go HD channel really awesome. Like watching youtube. Maybe the bitrate is about 2mbps like that. For SD channel. Really bad & most of it not native 16:9 mode.

Too bad about American Idol huh. Guess astro will never add that channel. Maybe get to cease broadcast first before we get to see on astro. Atleast, now can watch Aniplus & Comedy Central in HD now. Maybe they will add Animax 4:3 soon in astro go like MTV. MTV Asia still trash. Wonder if some provider likely to add MTV Live anytime in future. Ansa probaly(nowhere to be seen).

Still hope to see Fox HD in astro go. Only selected tittle like The Walking Dead is available OD. Want to watch The Simpson & Family Guy not available OD. Iflix family guy show will leave the service this april. Just got to rewatch back S1.

Beside that astro save money from hire more people jobs to delay & censor Asia related channel.
