Indonesian not like rojak from astro. They want something new.
Here we got tongkat & crony that want to get more tax money & profits. Whatever boring shows on astro is showing through from start 1996-2017(now) still remain because we got monopoly.
Astro in Indonesia got kick out easily because Indo people can stop using astro & move either Transvision or BiG TV provider. Here astro we have. Thanks to gomen also give the exclusive monopoly. Now astro become big company by suck monthly bill from customer.
Other satellite TV service who want to compete astro must have their own popular rojak program. Because here we like to watch Malay drama. Younger generation now use internet to download US movie. Must be though to challenge them. Oh astro got all company make their own good Malay drama. They choose astro bcz can get more profits by putting ads like cosmetic product & promote coffe product. Thanks to 5 million customer.
One more thing is most watch channel is just on Astro. Like Disney, Nat Geo & such channel. If Ansa want to offer cheap service. Atleast need 10-15 channel offer for the first launch & price for RM30 monthly. If like that for sure people will think better go for NJOI.
HyppTV first launch bundle with Unifi also offer less than 20 channel for start. Still remain in the market because TM bundle with Unifi...
Oh, our people like to watch EPL. And EPL is just available on astro. When i see back article about Ansa another satellite TV service. I see the comment "No EPL no thanks". Well....
There is no basic package to offer because astro family lite pack is about RM20 only. Really hard to compete. Must be more hard if you lose & need to cover all cost just to start up new company.
So, no hope.
