I read fr the previous MDA regulatory website that exclusive chs needs to be cross carried on the competitor platform and that all back-end, admin, equipment charges has to be paid by the operator who signed the exclusive chs.

So starhub is at the losing end if their channels needs to be cross carried on Singtel. Hence the harsh harsh 'only on starhub'.

Please dont remove the old rca jack. I use that to output astro display to a 2nd tv in the kitchen. HDMI splitter will work, but it will require a power supply to power up the splitter. Waste my electricity and socket outlet. (passive hdmi splitter , the one that split hdmi to 2 output without using any power supply does not work).

My phone got Astro Go update to v8.1.75
Picture aspect ratio look very small(for Live TV stream only).

Anyone also have this problem?

Edit: Back to normal after uninstall & get back v8.1.68 using apkpure website.

In term of video quality. Astro go best. Hypptv heavy pixelate.
inb4 everyday use youtube.

It happen on my Yes 4G phone.

Say Astro Go is free to all customer. But, cheap RM300 phone also some cannot support it. Lucky, Yes 4G phone is working on v8.1.68. i don't think Astro will be upgrade their streaming service for now. Latest version still not fix pixelated bugs. But, OD content is nicely look in AG. They think all people got $$ to buy flagship phone?. I laugh when see list of supported device in AG FAQ(in Settings tab). All supported device is almost premium & flagship phone. Better tutup kedai la if not all semakpong not support this app.

HyppTV app is one of most makan data than AG. Bcz, it eat about 500~600MB per 30min HD channel. A bit turn off bcz HD channel is not so real HD. Just waste for who subscribe with Digi & Unifi Lite(bcz in terms of video quality AG is bit look good... But have pixelated). HyppTV just maintain video. But, it cannot maintain the original quality.

Of course, AG will work nicely if you have stable 5mbps speed. For who stream it using Video-Onz unlimited P98 & P78. For sure it look like crap SD channel.

Both Live TV & OD in HyppTV app still not match AG for HD content. But, still none if this app cannot match real HD content in YouTube...
