Look at the situation in SG, HBO n the sister chs still not on Singtel, Starhub is paying high minimum guarantee to HBO to keep competitor out.

No contacts in Discovery but I suspect it's to tailor diff programs to the country viewing habits. Likewise, AXN have a MAL/Asia feed and a dedicated SG feed.

Right, Discovery and many more have different programming to suit the country,based on my experience with India all documentary channels carry more programmes linked to India. When asstro had Bio Channel many wl remember msian political leaders were featured

Hope HyppTV can get FOX Movies soon. Since both Starhub TV & Singtel TV can carry this channel. But, of course HyppTV will make Movies Pack for it(when HyppTV start to offer FOX Movies)...

Yet another Report @ complains against HBO channel movie

Whatever happen. I already stop/drop Movies Pack for good.
Always keep repeat same movies & me spend less time to watch movie in astro.

Like chuppachop say, HBO in SG is made available only in Starhub TV platform. Mean, Singtel TV cannot take this channel. If Ansa will launch soon. They also cannot add HBO channel into their platform.

Whatever it is, everyone knows that HBO in Malaysia is not worth to watch at all. Despite, still many will subscribe that channel. But, many will torrent/download to get HBO original series uncut...
