This won't happen in Malaysia for sure. MCMC will not allow and will ban any kind of pornography content in Malaysia as porn itself is illegal by Malaysian law.

Again this Low L H simply talk nonsense. Why nonsense?

Anyone can make guesses by saying "IF" this or that channel (such as SciFi, Fox, etc) is taken by Ansa and then give opinions. Its okay because its just "IF" guesses that can possibly happen.

But its really stupid to say "IF" Ansa takes any X-rated or Adult or AV channel because EVERYONE in Malaysia knows that such channels are NOT allowed to be shown here in Malaysia.

Well... I will definitely NOT be so stupid to say "if Astro Publications publishes Playboy Magazine (Malaysia Edition), then everyone here will be able to view sexy naked ladies". Definitely NO IFs.

Why should Low say "IF" when we all know that such AV channel is guaranteed not allowed for Malaysia... not only for Ansa, also not allowed for Assteruk, HyppTV, and whatever broadcaster. What is the purpose of saying only "if Ansa"? Why not say you hope "Assteruk" to take such AV channel too and then get to watch LGBT AV? * LGBT : Lesbians, Gays, Bisexual and Transexual.

If want to assume something, then don't just simply use something that everyone knows that there is no such thing as "IF" for banned materials !

I guess the reason why "Japan AV Idol channel" is mentioned is because he wants to criticise and try to pull down the image of Ansa. Why? Because he wants to jack up the image of Assteruk which he worship and love so much that he can't live without Assteruk. Of course he wants Assteruk to succeed because he is using NJOI and don't pay any monthly subscription so he don't care what assteruk do to those people who pay monthly subscriptions ! At least my guess makes some sense... his guess that Japan AV channel may be allowed is pure nonsense.

I may be wrong but I suspect that he doesn't want Ansa to succeed because "maybe" another Satellite Pay TV can damage or weaken Assteruk which may affect his "free" NJOI channels.

Earlier, he trolled about various new NJOI channels "coming" which are actually his own wishes... and when asked where he got the info, he gave a link to a post in Assteruk FB which is actually posted by him, LOL !!

I really admire this guy for being able to continue like nothing happen and don't bother what other people think about him ! Hehe... I failed... did not manage to ignore him loh.

I believe the "best" logical way for Ansa is to use the Satellite platform to broadcast because of obvious reasons... fast and easy delivery nationwide without needing to take time and $$ to invest in terrestrial infrastructure. At the present time... we are not even sure when Digital Terrestrial TV will be officially launched... what about "nationwide"? Just look at recent history on what happened to the failed ABN (Asian Broadcasting Network) Cable TV. So, I am really not surprised IF Ansa decides to use the Satellite TV platform loh.

Yes, everyone who supports competition and condemn monopoly (except for "one" person here) will surely hope that Ansa succeed loh. I also hope so. BUT... whether Ansa will succeed or not in the future... only time will tell. How long will it take for Ansa to become a "force" that is strong enough to compete with Assteruk? I don't know. I just hope Ansa don't "die" before it even start !!

Mmm... I also notice another "interesting" guy called Mr Loh A+ who did also posted info that is... well... where is the reliable source to back it up? I hope its not the same person, hehe. I apologise if different person.

I sometimes wonder if people of such sort know that they are making fools of themselves and in a public forum at that.

I understand it is good to think positive. But seriously, when it comes to Wikipedia pages about TV channels, many of them has been vandalised by false information, especially upcoming channel on Astro la, Hypp TV la, all those nonsense. You see, Wikipedia pages can be edited/modified by anyone, so that why information from Wikipedia are not 100% accurate. So you need to think twice before you trust any information you get from Wikipedia cuz it could be true, or could be false.

Whether you notice it or not, it seems that his previous posts about him saying that we should be dreaming about Ansa Broadcast, has been removed, even before you posted this. Does anyone else notice the same thing?

For me, it is a wise decision for Ansa to go for satellite. Astro started off with satellite, with one big reason, which is instant nationwide coverage as they turn on the satellite signal. Preparing infrastructure, install cabling, distribution boxes to customers premises, this takes a very long time to reach all customers. Why not just a small satellite dish, point to the sky, and then can get the service immediately?

Because now, many Malaysians already using Astro (satellite), any new competitors that seriously want to compete against Astro, is better go ahead with satellite lor... Anything that can quickly rollout the service nationwide. Or, digital terrestrial TV also can. Just if you don't know, MYTV is planning to have a terrestrial pay TV to be launch in the future and it uses MYTV Advance decoder to insert smart card to watch it.

If they go for IPTV or cable TV, surely have coverage problems at certain point. TM Hypp TV no need to worry about this, because we already paying a lot of money for Unifi already, confirm enough money for them to sustain.

To me, the point is the consumers are given an option with Ansa coming in. Competition is good in that Astro cannot remain complacent much more. My hope is Ansa learns from Astro's arrogance and provide better service.
*
That depend their company how the way to provide service to customers.

But I think astro won't afraid Ansa because astro already got brand name in some of the customers in their mind (even through this company provide shit channel).

Sure most of customers will still subscribe astro compare Ansa (in terms of last longer company in Malaysia). I believe most of ppl don't like after pay money to payTV subscriber. After few months or years, company want to close down again due to low viewer to subscribe (Just like abxn or miTV)

Then sure uses Ku band to beam to users.
U cannot use C band for the mass public.. The cost is too much...

Now the question is, uses which satellite??
Don't tell me its same as astro laugh.gif Measat one tongue.gif

High chance might get from Measat (due to it is belong to Malaysia). Unless u use rocket shoot down that satellite.

But I hope they use ST1 or Asiasat (if they got sign agreement with them)

Don't forget there are some people out there loves to watch Astro Ria, Prima & Oasis program. And, don't tell me that Ansa will include Astro Ria HD as part of their channel addition.. puke.gif yawn.gif

Same like HyppTV. At first, add Astro Supersport then add a lot Astro channel, like Astro Awani, Prima & Oasis channel. But, good days come when HyppTV finally removed all Astro channel last year.. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
Of course, Ansa will use MPEG4 format.
Even HyppTV when first launch in 2010 use MPEG4 for both SD & HD channel.

No brain still watch crappy picture in MPEG2 codec? laugh.gif
Measat is Malaysia government proud.
For sure, gomen/SKMM want them to use proudly made in Malaysia satelite.. doh.gif laugh.gif
*
I don't think Ansa will include astro rojak channels inside. (Unless Ansa share satellite with measat then GG)

There are still a lot of No brain ppl work in astro who still use super outdated technology with crappy picture. You should say luckily not use 3GP format to watch channel. Lol.

Hello. I'm a different person than the person that you are talking about. I know that Wikipedia is not a reliable source, but sometimes it can be true. I mean that thinking positive about something is better than the opposite of this perspective. smile.gif
*
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

The source link you gave previously ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrill_(TV_channel)

Hello hello to you too.

So are you suggesting that I think positive is better than think negative? What are you talking about? I was NOT talking negative or positive when I said "where is the reliable source to back it up?" I was just talking FACT when I went to your Wiki link for Thrill TV on 17/08/2017 and found that there was NOTHING being mentioned on "HyppTV", ZERO... nothing on HypTV CH 650 and future CH 654 !!

Of course I DO know that Wiki source can be unreliable when there is no external reference link or links to collaborate such info AND also because anyone can "simply" edit the WiKi details without the need for anyone to prove it. I accept that Wikipedia IS ALWAYS a good place to get the info that we want and its info can be accurate BUT I usually do some more digging whenever I "suspect" that the info given is not accurate especially when the info is about the "future" such as, example... "soon to be launched TV channels" when nothing was mentioned on where the info came from... such as announcement made from the TV Operator or other sources.

I can 100% swear to you that I am not the culprit who "deleted" the HyppTV details from the Wiki page that you mentioned. Maybe someone else deleted those info on the CH 650 and CH 654 probably because of whatever reasons that only that person knows. Who knows? After I posted this reply to you... someone else MAY put that HyppTV info back again to the Wiki page.

Whatever is said about HyppTV CH 650 and CH 654... as far as I know when I read that Wiki page on 17/08/2017... there is actually NOTHING mention on this !! I repeat... that's why I said "where is the reliable source to back it up?" I should have said... "the info you mentioned is missing there". My comment has absolutely NOTHING to do with whether I thought negatively loh ! Its a FACT that I did NOT see anything mentioned on this when I read that page at that time !

Yeah... its always okay and good for anyone to hope and wish for something and feel positive about it... I support that ! I found out that its true that CinemaWorld HD Ch. 650 is available on HyppTV so that info is accurate. It may be true when you said about Thrill Channel 654 will be launched soon on HyppTV BUT that WiKi link you gave as the source of the info did NOT mention anything about this. Please forgive me for not being smart enough to find that info from my google searches so I hope you can at least show me ANY other reference link which mentions the "magical" future CH 654.

Hehe... think positive pulak... apa ni ?

Best Regards.

Additional Notes
If its true, then you can say "Thrill will be launched soon on HyppTV (CH 654)." but show me the source info.
If you hope for that channel, then you can say "I hope Thrill will be launched on HyppTV." and I support your wishes, so I will join you in thinking positively loh.

Not talking about you here... will, shall, maybe, may, guess, if, hope, not sure, wish... are all words with different meanings. If I wish or hope for something, I won't say "will". If I am not sure or making guesses, I will say it. That guy Low is one such person who personally wishes for this and that channels and talks as though those channels WILL be launched without giving any reliable source for such info, LOL ! All he needs to say is that he "hope" or "wish" for such channels so that people can at least think positively hoping that it becomes a reality later. Don't just give "unreliable" info with the word "will" or... example... "??? channel launch end of year" which makes people feel positively happy and then finds out that its not true so we become negatively sad, hehe.

Why are people so desperately want to watch porn on TV which is impossible in our country where even Selena Gomez's concert was protested and a harmless Despacito song was banned? A simple google search and a bit knowledge on torrenting is all required to watch adult contents as a matter of fact.

IKR..knowing how conservative the people are still want to watch explicit contents on TV? Better ask for more international and less rojak in house channels.
