No new Chinese channels for CNY? Same old overpriced Dynasty, New Emperor and AOD packs?

No more open up all channels as free...

Guys, anyone experience screen flickering issue only on HD channels recently? Normal channel without HD channels seems no issues.

Instead of getting ITV Choice HD on Astro platform.
Like ITV Choice HD on Starhub TV & Singtel TV.
Astro decide to discontinue this channel.

Bye2 low viewership demand channel.
Look like we are getting more in-house channel soon.
Just atleast if Toonami HD & Boomerang HD available here.
Don't know why Toonami FB page video show MAL.
Is it MAL is here Malaysia? But Toonami not available here.

Kids channel is really not interested from Astro.

Kids channel is really high viewer hence Astro not interested to upgrade this channel to HD feed for better viewing experience.
Paling kurang Astro hanya upgrade Disney Channel & Disney Junior ke 16:9 SD je.
Really missed old day when Cartoon Network showing Dragon Ball Z Kai.
Now already move to Toonami. Bila tengok iklan Toonami di Cartoon Network.
And the word "Please contact your local cable TV operator for Toonami availability".

Yup, MAL refers to Malaysia time.....  Noticed Toonami also changed their logo (3D logo) and look .... So maybe the ch is coming to one of the operators soon, fingers crossed

maybe hypptv. astro is no longer interested to add new channels except for their in house channels. 2 most recent additions - BOO and Tara Hd prove that.

Always to check any renew contract or not from astro if they gonna to give you "free refurbish" pvr set..

Those Astro Tutor TV, Xiao Tai Yang all channels are cheapulak one. I can say it's totally useless and not a professional education channels..  Until now, these few channels haven't been ceased operation.
I believe that still have few demand to watch those kinds of channels..

They never change when I got my new STB

Usually, Astro installer should change the satellite dish when they upgrade customer's set-top-box to B.yond. If they don't, then it is more likely that they are lazy to do so.

As for the RG6 cable (satellite cable), the installer usually won't change it unless if the condition of the cable is not so good or you request/tell them to do so. RG6 cable can last quite long and won't easily get damaged unless it is damaged by user.

Older Astro satellite dish (silver) are 55cm (capital letter "ASTRO" logo) and 60cm (lower case "astro" logo). Black B.yond dish is 65cm. Bigger satellite dish size, for sure the better reception it is.
