Normal la... Usual pay TV operators around the world practice that. Cuz if they don't provide preview, most customers won't know what kind of programming the channel offer. The best is, the customer get hooked after watching the preview, then they subscribe it.

1 thing I'm going to praise Astro is that finally, they have the EPG for the GoAsean channel (737). I kinda like that channel before but it didn't have a dedicated EPG. Happy it does now.

I like that channel too.. but I find that fat guy as host is a bit annoying

I almost forgot there was a channel named VIJAY on ASTRO GO..
Is it direct from India? or macam campur lagi iklan "On demand VOD" ka, ASTRO GO ka...
And seems like STAR VIJAY on air look still in old branding(and logo,not like STAR INDIA CHANNELS WHICH IS ALL CHANGED TO NEW LOGO), only changed the subtitle to "21th FOX century company.

All Indian channels on astro are run here by a group of businessmen at astro under the Indian Program Unit ,the selected content mostly silly serials and Talent shows from the channels are repacked and rescheduled locally and airtime slots are sold to local advertisers.so its two birds with one stone

No pal not working but was a regular complainant ,taking them to task over several issues! I knew finally how they worked,Indians swindle Indians to be exact! They have deals with their India counterparts Thats how Vinmeed HD was produced to protect it no other Tamil HD channels were allowed,thats hw they protect their business after 20 years I am now on just Family HD pack,astro is not worth the money at all !First PQ is hopeless ,setup box outdated with no good audio/video features then the recycled content,well just my opinion!

Maybe Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) got a big problem, they launching TV5 without RTM workers permission so they will be temporary change back to TVi without reason.

I think lah... The reason they made exclusive content on Astro Go first, before making it available on TV platform is because they want to attract more users to use Astro Go and also gain popularity of it. Cuz after all, pretty much every Malaysians know what is Astro, but not everyone knows Astro Go, you see?

The content that is exclusive on Astro Go are mainly targeted on youngsters, such as anime, Korean shows and American comedy shows.
They know youngsters (incl. young adults) spend more time on Internet and video content streaming like this, compared to adults or elderly.

Haha now on the go is trending already ma I also barely watch TV since leaving student stage haha dang only on when got live football at night-midnight

According to Lowyat.net, it did mention that those 3 channels that is currently exclusive on Astro Go will eventually be made available on TV platform but did not disclose when.

From this point, it is pretty obvious that Astro is trying to attract more users to get to know what is Astro Go and also to use it, especially youngsters. Till the point they "satisfied" making those channels exclusive on Astro Go platform only, then they will made available on TV platform.
