If they are better than the ovct20 then it is definitely a better buy. Thumbs up for cheap and good products thumbup.gif

Btw anyone here really done AB comparison? Are they really that obvious the difference? Now I regret a bit getting the ovc tongue.gif

hmm... i'm guessing it needs an amp to sound best rite?
how does it sound unamped compared to the cx300?

I don't think its going to be that big of a leap with amp. These iem is quite eq friendly. Doesn't distort much when equalized. At least, I don't hear them distorted. I play it through mp3 player though smile.gif

I'm using that iem. They sounded good and bass is quite tight but not so deep. I wish the bass would be better. Want to get M3 but then...how much I can sell these ovc tc20 I wonder >.<

Can anyone borrow me their M3 so that I can decide whether I worth an upgrade or not tongue.gif

I don't have msn mail. only got yahoo.

I mean that the iem gives sound that is accurate to the original recording. meaning no coloration, or excessive here and there. i think sony's earphone is not accurate, it distort the original sound, make it more boomy, and the music will sound different than studio recording.

I want a more analytical sound. No distortion so that i can hear the recording as it is recorded. distortion or excessive equalizing might gives a more pleasant sound but it could be distorted....

So i want it to sound like it was recorded in the studio, with no addition and distortion.

hope i make myself clear...  hmm.gif

reading this forum just want me to get it these baby more and more...  drool.gif
I want to know if the mylarone or mylarthree produce more accurate sound. mylarthree is better built, right? but if mylarone is more true or accurate, i might get this one instead.

Added on August 11, 2007, 8:08 pmanother thing,

what is the claimed frequency response of mylarone and mylarthree?

Also is the build quality good? The cable is okay?

Added on August 11, 2007, 8:12 pmwhich one is better for classical, or symphony?

I've tried the mylar3, honestly, I prefer how the mylar2 sounded. But if what you want is analytic ( aka boring sound to me tongue.gif ) the m3 might serve your purpose well. But then...you might want the im716? The disadvantage is that they needed to be amp

If you don't want to, you have to be statisfied with the m3 tongue.gif
