Have been spending all of my portable listening in the past few days with the mylarone, paired with LDM+ and an 5.5G ipod.

After sufficient burn-in, I would best describe the sound signature of the mylarone as warm, with decent balanced and expansive bass. One thing I still don't get enough from the mylarone is the soundstage. Well it's an IEM anyway smile.gif

Although when compared to higher-end full size headphones the flaws of it may be somewhat more apparent, but I really couldn't ask any more for the price tag. Seriously - And I don't really like IEMs!

Have been listening on the mylar3 since it arrived 7 hours ago (I did remove it periodically though). First impression was the isolation were really kinda bad. They don't provide a good seal no matter how I adjust them, and I found out that pushing it too deep had obvious negative effects on the sound quality. I would definitely want to switch to a better IEM sleeve soon.

However, it still sounds sweet smile.gif more refined highs, a tad bit better soundstage, and very musical. Very detailed mids with high resolution. The bass wasn't as good though, due to the seal/isolation. I'd bet it would be much better with a sleeve change.

Yeah I was thinking about the triflanges as I've read about really good isolation from them, or the black ety foamies they look like god damn comfortable. Sigh.

Full sized cans still rock. cool.gif

After days of experiementing (enduring) the stock buds, I managed to get a good seal with them but it takes me 5 minutes every insertion and I'm always scared to move too much, or else the seal might break. lol

I just adjust them and try all possible positions until it seals in. You can feel it when you get a good seal, even without the music on.

But still, it isn't good sad.gif Come on lemme have the biflanges

I have tried both the ksc75 and mylarthree amped. I wouldn't do a comparison between an IEM and a ear clip, but I can say that KSC75 gave a much much bigger SQ boost when amped, while Mylarthree doesn't give such a big difference. I can listen to it unamped out of a DAP - The difference is there, but I'm sure a lot of people can live without it.
