speaking of phones... out of all my phones 'til today... (errmm.. budget phones ok) my ath-eq8cx still outperform others. i never tried ksc75 before.. but it uses the same driver as my ksc55... so if mylarone / mylar3 really beat it... it would be another discovery for me.. hehe...

btw... awaiting for the mylarone... going to pair it with sijosae class ab. duno y my ath-eq8cx does not shine with the sijosae...

i'm impressed with mylarone SQ, playing vocal is an ear opening experience to me with mylarone.

output is detailed... bright... and natural. sounds segregation of each instrument were nicely done. really out of my expectation for this price range.

still burning in... will try on my sijosae class ab later and see how it sounds...

overall, i think the money was well spent... looking forward for mylar3... yu heng... quick quick pm me, so i can bank in. smile.gif

hey , can i know what is trusty LDM+ ? and IEM ?
*
LDM+ is a headamp, it is a type of amplifier unit to boost up the sound to make it sound better, brighter, more detail and obviously more louder.

IEM = in-ear monitor ... earbud earphone... those earphone u stuck into ur ears for listening pleasure one... know?

ok. gotten mylar3 from yuheng around 7pm+ still burning in...

overall experience, comparing mylar1 and mylar3 in short:

mylar1 - bright, light, natural clear sounding. (more suitable for jazz/accoustic with flat bass or non-sustain bass music genre)
mylar3 - improved low and mid, thus making it less bright as mylar1, but more balance. (well rounder for all genre of music)

paired both with sijosae class ab headamp (built by thedoctor to handle my shp895)... err nothing much be heard... just louder (unamped volume at 80%, amped at 40%).. and some high being filtered.

well, just my personal thoughts.. hope u guys would be sharing ur experience too with other different headamp. smile.gif

forgot to add... i think mylar1 has better isolation... and more comfortable to wear than mylar3. how come ar? bcox of the sleeve/tip?
