Just got my mylarone this morning, only have chance to listen a few songs after my lunch. Anyway, I am really impressed with the sound. Can't do a full scale review yet as I don't think I am good enough to do a proper writeup on that.
Anyway, prior to this, I already own sony's MDR-EX71, Ety ER4P and recently Senn's CX300. I would say at least for now (before burning in), performance of mylarone is close to Ety, if both unamped. I don't really like the sound characteristic of CX300. Will try it with amp and see how is it.

QUOTE(walabies @ Mar 6 2007, 11:00 PM) Impressive collection of IEMs EX71 is out of league, CX300 also dont stay long with me, and I just found out the 'blue and red' design is similar to ER4. If the SQ is close to ER4 as commented, it's definately a very worthy IEM to get... Close when they are both unamped. I still prefer ER4P actually, but the price is 8x of MylarOne (I bought my Er4p <rm900), so, it's hard to compare. I own a few cans by Senn, feel that their IEM is rather unimpressive, at least not of my taste.

QUOTE(driftmeister @ Mar 19 2007, 12:25 AM) mine behave the same too i guess its the characteristic ck7 and mylar totally diff mylar's bass is nowhere near ck7 but not as balanced still prefer ck7 kenot really consider as audiophile level sounds kinda muffle for me sounds a bit like Focal in ICE No wonder I like mylar, I loves focal's sound . That's what I call personal preferences. This post has been edited by Susuwatari: Mar 19 2007, 08:21 AM
