shure is great, but oni apply to higher end model, as for me, lower end model doesnt impress me..

as for mylar, mylar xb have more rounded sound where x3 have sweeter vocal, easy as that, with this high budget, u can get something seriously good, but it all depend on ur purpose, u can always get one x3 for trying 1st, as it is cheap but having some decent sounds...

this is my 1st entry earphone which cursed me spend alot in audio ...LOL

i dont find that there is some1 to step and talk about bad about she9500 to spoil our MR DAVIS Philips earphone SALES

ISOLATION OF SHE9500 is quite SUXKS!!!
there a failure of design of the shape of the phone, hence it just cant put in the earcanal properly
look at the picture below and it will give u the clear idea on what i talking about

right side is SHE9500 while left side is SHE9600
obviously the 9600 is improved version, the shape is improved
the driver is longer and greater tilt
she9500 driver can't be insert deep into ear canal as it's wire stress relief will touch the ear. while the she9600 were tilt more to the ear drum, hence the 9600 can be insert into ear canal and provide better noise isolation"
