"Burn in" defined by wikipedia, which let new audio equipment turned on for multiple days or weeks, to get the components to achieve optimal performance. However, many debates arise about the beneficial effects of this practice.
Personally, it works, usually I run the IEMs for about 20-24 hours. ^^ For more info, http://www.burninwave.com/ This post has been edited by Rithrade: Jan 18 2008, 10:15 AM |

there is alot of buddy who dont believe in burn in, but bear in mind, whether the story/theory is reasonable or not, the most we wan is the changes of sound, i will not care how to describe, ways to run in, i wil say. as long as it change in sound, i would try to believe on it

QUOTE(PcWork @ Feb 23 2007, 06:46 PM) SHE9500 has less isolation even compare to my normal sony earbud. Philips and many other reputable brand like Sennheiser and AKG knowing what they are doing on their product.=P it's have almost 0% isolation in she9500. Good sound isolation is bad to the end user. That is why the control the sound isolation at <85% below. Only those new, desperate, unresponsbile company would make it totally isolation or bloated bass or sometimes hired few "gunsmen" doing marketing for their product. This tactic widely use by American and Chinese company. |

Dear Mr. Davis, if you are just coming here to post some random post bashing peoples, I suggest you are totally out of business. We never talk in your Philips tread, so do you might want to do the same.
From your post, what I get to caught your meaning is, those big companies Shures, ERs, or even Bose, Altec Lansing who is doing In Ear Phones are totally dumb to be doing 'total isolation'? Please enlighten me... This post has been edited by walabies: Mar 7 2008, 11:19 PM |

We do not even step philips, that will be facts/feedback from consumer, if u don't wan to accept it, can just ignore rather than make all those unnecessary comments. you have your own rights by refusing the facts, but all users among the world shall have the freedom to comments on the product, if u have doubt on it, u might just drop me a pm and i can SELL u one unit, u can test and review on both, that will be fair. i dont think i have to disclose some facts as to privately telling everybody thru pm, i m not commenting as to philips like SHITs only if u felt so. in fact i dont comment it publicly as to philips like shit, but i do have to tell that mylar model might be superior than some of the philips models, that is the facts, u can always tell me that , UE,Etys or even Westone is superior than mylar, yes i will agree with you, that is the facts. thks for calling us "gunsmen", i m not appreciate being called as this, u can always ask our consumers how we conducting after sales services, or u can always raised this question that how was the satisfaction of the Mylar products. dont ever think that 400-500 users being fooled by so called " gunsmen" in Msia, or i shall said, thousand of users among the world are so stupid because choosing some products that sold by "gunsmen" among the world, most of the consumers might have better experiences than you or me as to their music listening journey. |
