Nothing in FSM is capital guaranteed including CMF...

CMF is not capital guaranteed.

But it's underlying assets are - Fixed Deposits and normal deposits

If the Trustee is doing it's job, basically it means that CMF IS safe.

Sorry to ask this question:

May I know why Affin Hwang Select Income Fund service charge is 1% instead of 2%?

This could be asked by others before I think but my memory is poor.
*
FSM promotion I think

Affin Hwang also charges 3% instead of usual 5.5% for Affin Hwang Select Income Fund
*
Dulu I buy thru HLB also 3%.

Cos it's a conservative mixed assets fund, thus SC lower than equity and your standard 50/50 balanced fund.

beats me man. when I first started two years ago I read everything from version 1 and made sure I understood all the principles of unit trust investing before attempting to question the regulars here.

I have on occasion been scolded by Xuzen, pinkspider and adele123 and all I did was swallow my pride and took it in as valuable tuition.

And I still drop by occasionally to make you swallow your pride ! tongue.gif

Post #1 already have a simple explanation of what is IRR dry.gif

Falling which, Google is your best friend.

Don't sit in the driving seat until you get the basics right. You are like an individual who couldn't tell between a brake pedal and an accelerator pedal attempting to drive now.

I am being passive - aggresive... yeah I know. Too much heaty food laterly (Bagua + Prawn Keropok).
