I cannot say anything about the performance of this lens, as I don't have one.
However, it does feel plasticky. The Minolta mount version which I tested at Bintang Maju, Maju Junction had loose contacts, so the aperture would read "--" sometimes. This made the shutter speed become 1/4000th of a second (thus causing black underexposed shots if loose.) You might want to try it out and see if the lens is loose. The Sigma version is much more solid, but becomes F5.6 at 230mm (this one becomes F5.6 at 300mm, which is better in low light.) It has 1:2 macro (meaning it can photograph something twice the width and height of the sensor, e.g. 48x36mm). This is usually 'enough' macro for most people. It also has 300mm telephoto. |

I had read few reviews. This lens is not bad for its price.
You can't complaint much for such low budget. And also much better than the my pariah Nikkor AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6G. |
