Hi,

im using streamyx right now 8MB. Have lots of IOT device using Wifi to be deployed into my future home. Currently testing fews stuffs on my current house. All switches, bulbs will be wifi enable. On my current setup after changing to 2 Wifi/Router/AP i found out the wifi connection is not really stable. Sometime my Google Homes, Echo Dots cannot reconnect to wifi requiring AP reboot. Was using TM net supplied AP/Wifi/Router/Modem and curently DLink with huge antenna. Still the same ..

Question 1) Would Unifi AP solve my prob

Question 2) Can i use my current Dlink and configure as bridge so that Edgerouter can dial in Pppoe ?

Question 3) mu future home is 2 stories bungalow around 4000 Sqf . 2 Unifi Ac pro can cover whole house?

Question 4)I am running my home automation server . Will setting port forwarding easy enough for Unifi router?

thanks

U need to get Ubiquiti UniFi AP (model: UAP-AC-Pro) because it can cater up to 200 clients/connections.
2 units AC-Pro shd b able to cover whole house.
For Port Forwarding, u can get a better router, like ASUS. ASUS got built-in DDNS, so no need to pay yearly subscription for DynDNS.
