I lost my mp3 player...gotta get another one. I dont really like iPod, but because it can act as a photobank with the camera dock connector...I'm contemplating putting my hands on another ipod, probably the 30gb model. I was wondeing if anybody has used it for thsi purpose before. AFAIK, it will copy everything from supported camera (my D50 included) excluding RAW files.

i'm not sure oso, never really used. my 1 gb card is sufficient for most one day shootings. if not, carry my laptop on journies. but planning to get another card soon. i think the epson photo viewer enables u to copy raw files http://www.dpreview.com/news/0410/04101203epson_p2000.aspnot gonna come cheap tho n hardly a music player

No RAW is a BIG dissadvantage. You already have a DSLR and might not use RAW that much now. But if you need it, wouldn't it be a waste. Plus you're still planning and haven't bought it yet. Best to think hard about it,,,,,,

QUOTE(AlamakLor @ Feb 19 2007, 08:15 AM) I dont really like iPod, were i you i would get digimate 3, cost only rm120, plus one 2.5 hdd, under rm200, total less than rm350 and buy my fav mp3 player. ipod is overpriced. I have no problem with ipod's price, moreso its build quality...which is sucking big time nowadays. If it can copy RAW, that'd be great. I really dont wanna lug so many things around.

QUOTE(clemong_888 @ Feb 19 2007, 07:09 PM) no play play I'm wondering if hooking up the dock cable directly to the camera without the cam connector would work (a USB mini converter is needed obviously)....
