Finally able to do 4.4% without any top up/fresh fund at Ambank. 

In BR to withdraw last FD. Still no promo. Their current FD rate:
1 yr 3.95%, 2 yr 4.1% and 5 yrs 4.55%.

Took out the FD and adios to BR for now !   

Moved to UOB for 4.30% 12 mth. Discussed with RM for coming FD placement. HQ approved 0.05% more but only for today. So have to check again when the day comes ! 

the branch I go so bad, tell me no such promotion, only have 4.40% for senior

say if want promotion rate can go put their e-fd 4.28% 8 months lol 

By the way, AM bank has 4.4% FD with monthly interest for 1 year but it has 2 conditions:
(1) 50 years and above
(2) Min RM 250 to open Saving Everyday saving account
Available until October (maybe 31 Oct)

No, in the last weeks it was 4.3 conventional and 4.4 islamic.

i was given option of credit back to principle.. same interest rate for either coonvention or islamic..

since it was closed to what cimb was offer, i dont mind the slight different in rate.

yes, mine was mention fresh fund.but the staff told me to check upon renewal what rate it will be offer... then at least i dont have to shift between bank again if the rate is no hudge different as my amount of FD is not big, hence not waste my effort to take leave to get new FD at another bank

if u believe we're going into recession, u may want to keep ur fd to a shorter term for now

monthly interested is given for FD under senior citizen.. that what i believe even tot bank didn't mention it.

3 months minimum for interest payout, for premature withdrawal (standard t&c for unfixed deposit) after that the interest will accumulate for remaining balance only.

Just placed CIMB 6 months 4.4%, bank staff had no knowledge of this promo until I showed them the CIMB webpage.
They told me 12 months back to 4.2% only.
Interest paid upon maturity into CASA unlike previous promo whereby we can opt for FRIA-i Monthly Returns 

PBB staff informed me their latest promo Islamic FD 12 months 4.3% monthly interest.

Yesterday I inquired about the FD rate at Ambank. If I'm not mistaken it is also 4.4 %. Don't know the tenure of the deposit. She said must open a saving account.
I don't see this rate on their website. So will put into CIMB Bank. Already have a saving accounts at CIMB. This money originally from RHB Bank.

Do you mind to share which branch you visited? I went to one branch at PJ but they told me 4.0% 

For cimb 4.4% 6month unfixed deposit, after maturity date will the promo rate continue another 6month or back to 3.x%?

Really? Was told only islamic FD pays interest on maturity. 4.3% non islamic interest can pay out monthly.

eFD offer generally was poor.
Last year I taught H was quite aggressive in promoting eFD by offering rate that was better than OTC rate, but since then the promo becomes less attractive.

This is doing no good to promote eFD around.

Ambank is giving 4% for 6 months but need to maintain RM10k in savings account.
