Just went to Ambank Subang Jaya, staff there says AmBank 12 mth 4.35% expired on Mar 31.

No more promo now.

Above FD need open a Savings Ac or not?
Interest how they bank in ?

I heard....

MBSB if you open FD account, have to open Saving Accounts as well because the interest will be bank into the savings accounts.

But we can only withdraw $ from Saving account over the counter only, cannot use ATM, cannot use online banking. Am I right?

So once the FD matured, can get bank cheque from them?
Or mati mati must withdraw CASH over the counter?

What i meant was, when our fd matured, can we ask them prepare bank draft/cheque for us (at a fee)?

Interest only paid upon maturity.
& on Maturity Date, both interest + principle will be credited into your SA.

I find that Maybank this year has NOT had good FD promos like last year.

Maybe Maybank not keen to achieve target on FD,.

(1) Affin Islamic promo FD p663m15 at 4.23% for 15 months end 31 Dec 2019, no CASA
(2) RHB 4.00% 15-mths. Min RM10K. End 31 July 2019

If make FD placement in Affin Islamic or RHB, need open SA there?
The interest credit into SA monthly?

My Public Bank FD matured July 17, wonder what's the promo rate FD for Public Bank now?

MBSB pun ok juga. But only for 6 months. If 1 year is better.

RENTAS transfer in Maybank is RM9 now.

It seems that 3% PA in FD now is a norm.
