Anyone know the website link for AM bank promotion FD?
I had search around, but could not find it.

Is it OTC or e-FD for AM Bank 3.95%, 6 months?

This is the version I got from Ambank: I was told only of the 12 months 3.95% pa promo minimum 10k placement and 10k in current / savings account. They even mentioned the 10k can be the total amount of all your banking accounts. Fresh funds not required as I am renewing the previous year's Ambank FD promo which as at 4.3%
I believe you need to ask and there's no printed flyer, the branch I asked is in PJ area

I'll confirm it on Monday but since they said the 10k can be a combination of few savings / current accounts, I don't think they will earmark it.

Asked today ,can withdraw  next day after the placement of FD

They told me that 10k min is for priority customer, non-priority customer need to have balance at least 100K?
Is that true?

 
Hi, new to this. Mind letting me know what "OTC" means? Is it over the counter? Whats the difference in "pure FD" that the others?

Also, been having trouble looking for the CIMB promo link, anyone care to share?

Why not put in money market ? The return is almost the same, at least no need tie up for certain peroid.

Is this referring to bonds, purchased via local banks ?

All sifu, want to ask, let say the fd bond for 1 year with interest rate 3.x%.

If I dont plan to move around the fund from one bank to another bank, is that mean that better for me to find out which bank always having higher board rate?

i dont see ambank promo on site. is the 3.95% promo required to be done at counter?

Update of pure OTC FD promos unless specified otherwise as at Friday 20 December 2019. All FD promos will terminate early if target fund reached.
3) AMB - no pure promo for normal customers.

For Priority customers only with 10k or more still in CASA.
3.95 % p01m6 minimum 10k.

Yesterday I ask the Ambank CS. 12 Months is 3.7%. 5 Years is 4.2%. You sure that you write is correct?

CIMB 12 Months is 3.75%
Affin Bank 12 Months is 3.15%

OPR cut so FD rate cut further?

I do not need much or long advice on this.Just need someone to see if theirs is correct or not.

Yep some of these young farts are so disrespectful - simply treat sifus and bosses as if they  should know that they can't know all the kungfu and everybody is halfbaked kangkong professors who do not do research but warm the seats and have coffee talk. There is nothing wrong, shameful or disrespectful about not knowing or not having the experiences, but there is something wrong when want to shut eyes and ears. Do you know what is the meaning of lifelong learning and backward attitudes? Respect must be earned. No need to be so thin skin. It is not simply given. But still grateful and thank you for your numerous other contributions. Is it not better to learn how to do it rather than simply asking assurance and spoonfeeding from others. Do we have the defeatist attitude that say Lee Chong Wei (no offence meant) cannot be Olympic champ to show that it is OK or achievable, that means all the others also cannot learn to do better?
