QUOTE(woowoo1 @ Sep 20 2022, 01:47 PM) Better put in the combo 70/30% as effective rate is 3.9%.i believe it is the highest at the moment eventhough 30% is in casa having 0.05% interest but the other 70%is at 5.55%. if a simple calculation is done, surely the combo beats the non combo interest at the end of the tenure Whst the main reason they wan us to put 30% in savings acc? anyone can explain? |

(Can consider to open Cash Rich saving account at the same time because of high interest rate, also open online banking). how much is rentas charges alredi?(2) Rentas before 12.00 pm or instant transfer to MBSB Prime Win saving account (3) Place OTC FD on the same day Do not bring cheque, you will lose 2 -3 days for cheque clearance. QUOTE(BoomChaCha @ Sep 21 2022, 11:49 AM) Usually around RM 5.00+ per Rentas, regardless of the amount. Just went to AMbank, Rentas is RM4, IBG is RM2But Am Bank charge less than RM 3.00 Usually the Rentas fund will take less than 2 hours to reach recipient bank. But better Rentas early in the morning. The early the better. |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Sep 23 2022, 08:44 AM) depends which bank lor... I like that ur aware about MBSB offers now.... some banks maybe desperate for more cash... may throw crazy % , nvr did we expect that MBSB was able to offer more than 4% this year.... but they did offer by giving 4.05% for 18 mths.... hence 5% is not too far fetch by 31 dec 2022..... keeping cash to load it up...i see BNM will hiking another 0.5% max by year end (indonesia, australia both just hiked 0.5%). maybank, public bank, cimb... max 3.55-3.65% then. Ambank, RHB, HLB 3.75-4%. MBSB, BR 4.5%...? but generally, will go up. so... better do 3, 6 months now, imo. |
