I'm thinking of getting an 85mm 1.8 imported model just to save a little $$, then purchase the 7 years MACK warranty. I was just wondering if anybody had actually make good use of the warranty and whether there's any hassles with it

the imported model is 360usd, + 20usd for 7 years MACK warranty
I think I still prefer prime lens 1-3 zoom lens should be more than enough

will the lens spoil? hell yeah....dust got into it, aperture blade doesnt close.....yada yada
