I'm thinking to buy one of these but I don't know which I should go for.

I'm not a graphic fag. Just a good performance (no lag or stuck) should be ok.

I'm a type of person who love to play games that have a good story. Good graphic but lame ass storyline will bore me.

In budgetwise, I can afford either one of these console.

Please help me guys.

I own both 3ds and psvita... both are good in my opinion, no lag whatsoever... with 3ds you can use generic sd card (old 3ds) or micro sd card (new 3ds) which is not expensive while for psvita you can only use sony's proprietary card which is quite expensive... both have good line up of games for example for psvita my most favorite is Persona 4 Golden & Disgaea 4, and for 3ds my most favorite is Fire Emblem Awakening & Fire Emblem Fates... The other downside with psvita is Sony nowadays has seemed making less new games for the PSVita with more game devs are shifting their future titles to the ps4...

how about pokemon? are they still good in 3ds?

as i heard ps vita now can link and play ps4 games? have you tried it?

pokemon are great on the 3ds with lots of title to choose especially the new addition, Sun and Moon...

yes psvita can stream ps4 games (you need to have a ps4) via Remote Play using Wi-Fi connection, thus freeing up your television for other uses... Most PS4 titles will support Remote Play as far as i know... Also ps4 stream gameplay smoothness using psvita will depend on you wi-fi signal strength... My wi-fi signal strength at home is kinda sucky therefore i don't prefer streaming the games...

if i'm more on the pokemon player, you think i should go for 3ds isn't it?

i played smash bros way back in gamecube era and i really love it even i played it once at my friend's house.

speaking of games, i read about some restriction about some games can only played in some region/console. can you share further about that? as far as i know us set can only play from us games and so does japan.

If you're a pokemon fan, then 3ds is a great buy...

The 3Ds has a region lock on it so only games that are sold in the same region will work on it.... This means that if you want to play an American version of a game you'll need an American 3Ds.... There might be mods/hacks/workarounds for it although I have no knowledge on that matter... I think you can look around Trade Zone -> Garage Sales -> Entertainment Garage Sales -> Games Garage Sales thread... There might be seller who's providing 3ds modding service...
